We went on Honeymoon to KwaZula Natal where we spent a few days in Pietermaritzburg enjoying the slow pass of life, we then went back to the coast to Durban and spent a few nights there while my husband competed in a surfing event.
My wedding look was simple. I had a light Smokey eye, light blush and dark lips. My hair was done by Caitlin for Carlton and it was a classic up do. My wedding dress was made by my mom(after I had a disaster with my original dress which was made by a dress maker!) two days before the wedding!! So I think it was pretty amazing for the time we had to pull it off :) I wore sandals as it was an outside wedding with lots of cobbles and grass.
We got married at the Platteklip Wash Houses in Cape Town, which is situated at the base of Table Mountain. It was a stunning site with the most breath taking views! Yes some of my Guests has accommodation at the venue (sleeps up to 16ppl).
Leading up to the big day I went onto a paleo diet, which helps keep your skin clear and maintains your weight. For my beauty regime I stuck to my usual products as I didn’t want to cause any irritation to my skin by changing products. I joint a boot camp back in January to help tone my body, which really worked well for me! Myself and my Braidsmaids had a spa day the day before to get ready.
