How often does it happen that one's first and last love is the same? I am very blessed to say that I am one of the lucky few and that God has blessed me beyond measure... Out of all the amazing memories we have created together in almost 8 years, our wedding is unparalleled. It felt like our wedding day was taken out of a fairy-tale, as everything was absolutely perfect, even better than we dreamed of. Our wedding look was elegant and romantic with candles everywhere. The colours were white and Serenity blue with hints of gold. My favourite moment of our wedding was walking down the isle and seeing my husbands face, his expression was of pure love and admiration. His vows were so heartfelt and I will cherish them in my heart forever. Our couple shoot was very special, as we had the chance to spend some quality time together and had the opportunity to just appreciate and grasp the incredible moment in our lives. One moment that is etched into my memory forever was walking down a dirt road, side by side, as the sun was setting. The sunset colours in the sky and the laughs we shared together were priceless. It felt like we were dancing on clouds with our first dance as husband and wife and everything and everyone else disappeared. My husbands words of "wishing we had more than one lifetime together" truly explains the precious relationship we have. Spending our wedding day with our loved ones was also priceless. We will treasure this day in our hearts forever.
We had the most magical honeymoon. My husband surprised me with an amazing trip to Cape Town, as we both love it there. We had the best time from picnics to wine tasting to sightseeing. Hereafter we went to the stunning island of Mauritius. This place is absolutely breathtaking with its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. One of the best moments was parasailing with my husband and getting a view from the top.
My wedding look was elegant and romantic. I had an exquisite ivory A-line wedding dress from the Le Papillon Modeca collection, which was even better than my dream dress. The lace was stunning with roses that seemed three-dimensional and had small transparent sequence that added an elegant shimmer. The beautiful sweetheart neckline was complimented with a gorgeous low back and an oval shaped train. Timeless bridal couture truly made the experience of getting my dream dress enjoyable. My wedding hair was absolutely stunning in a side swept down style. My makeup was flawless and the deep red lip colour completed my look to make me feel like a graceful bride. I loved my jewellery as my husband gave me a gorgeous bracelet as a present on the day and my sister, which was my made of honour, gave me my necklace as a gift. I made my own garter with stunning lace that complimented my dress. My wedding shoes made me feel like a princess with crystal rhinestones on.
We got married at the stunning Oxbow Country Estate. Our bridal party and parents also stayed the night at the venue.

I partook in a 10 week fitness and healthy lifestyle challenge before my wedding. This was perfect as I felt confident and like the best version of myself on my wedding day. I also drank a lot of water and vitamins to stay healthy.
Our decor was elegant and romantic with candles everywhere adding to the magical atmosphere. Our wedding colours were white and Serenity blue with hints of gold. Gorgeous white flower arrangements were setup in the chapel by my granny. Soft white curtain draping was also added to the outside chapel at Oxbow to add a romantic touch. We had oblong shaped flower arrangements as centerpieces on the reception tables with flowers draping softly onto the tables. The flowers were mostly white with hints of Serenity blue and very light pink colours, leaves were also incorporated to add a natural feel. The main table had a gorgeous flower runner. The table names were special words such as love, peace, faith etc. and was stunning gold laurel wreath themed. Mood lights were also setup everywhere to enhance the elegant and romantic ambience.
My groom looked incredible. He wore a dark grey suit with a Serenity blue colored tie and pocket square. The groomsmen wore dark grey pants with white shirts. They had blue-grey suspenders. and Serenity blue bow ties. All of them had name badges that we made, which also incorporated the gold laurel wreath theme.
My bridesmaids looked stunning and were the best. They had long flowy Serenity blue dresses on, which made them look beyond elegant. Their hair were in loose up-styles with a gold laurel wreath accessory in. The jewellery they wore was gold and was given to them as a gift. They also wore the name badges that incorporated the gold laurel wreath theme.
Mighty Fine Productions was our wedding photographers and videographers, and we could not have asked for better. They are incredible with what they do and make every moment so special. It was such a pleasure having them apart of our wedding day. Our photos and videos are absolutely incredible.

The food at Oxbow is absolutely delicious and their service is impeccable. Everything was perfect from the canapes to the main courses to the dessert. Hmmmm...
