I could not have imagined a day more perfect than Sunday, 02 April 2017. The day I got to call my Fiance' - my husband.
The venue was so incredibly beautiful in mixtures of pink and mint green and the decor took my breath away - so elegant.
I will never forget the moment I came down by boat to meet my husband at the end of the aisle. The sounds of Shania Twain in the background as I tearfully - happy tears - walked arm in arm with my mom to my also very teary man.
Delicious cake, food and speeches followed, with a romantic first dance to All about us and a few stolen moments with my love.
I will never forget this day. Perfection doesn't even come close.
The most memorable moments of our incredible day was having my mom to walk me down the aisle. My dad passed away a few years ago and having my mom there with me through both a sad and happy moment was so special.
My bridesmaids made me feel so special the entire day. They made sure every single detail was perfect, from the flowers, to the drinks, to hanging photos of me and my husband all over the venue. They are all one of a kind people.
My brother and his guide dog walking our rings down the aisle was very very special. Something so different and wonderful.
There are so many more special moments in our wedding and by far the best was saying I DO to the love of my life!
Yes! It was so memorable. We grew so much together, not just as husband and wife, but as best friends too.
We did a western Cape Road trip. Starting from our venue, to Beaufort West, then up to the west coast to a gem called absolute beach in St Helena Bay. Then down to Cape Town, camps Bay, hermanus and knysna. Beautiful and breathtaking!
