My dress was a lace, mermaid dress, with a sweet heart neckline & straps & open back. I wore white & silver open, heel shoes, my accessories were a choker, dangling earrings, hair piece all with silver & ziconias. My make-up was done by Melanie, she did a smokey eye effect, to enhance my eyes.
I married at Hulala lakeside lodge, most of my guests were from JHB, so they stayed for the weekend, makind the weding extra special & fun.
I tried to eat healthy & go to the gym when possible, just before the wedding i went for a massage, pedicure & manicure, to prepare for the day of the wedding.
I had a Country Flowers do all the decor, which i bought in advance, allot of the decor i bought from Mr Price Home & Sheet Street, my theme was the beach, we had a fairy light backdrop behind the main table, as well as fairy light arrangements as centre pieces, along with sea sand, shells & tealight candles.The color was aqua marine, to keep to the color of the ocean.We used all chairs, tables & cuttlery that was supplied to us by the venue.
The groom & groomsman wore black suits bought at Woolworths, ties & waist coat as well.
I only had one bridesmaid & her dress was from Forever new, she wanted a soft short dress in the aqua blue, which complimented her well, my flower girl's dress was also form Woolworths.
Our pastor was from the Church Unlimited, his name was Pastor Shaun.
Our photographer was Mila, from Mila photography & our videographer was Joe.
No i didn't most of the planning & co-ordinating i did myself, just before the wedding.
Everything took place in one venue, so i drove the day before to the venue and spent the friday night with my bridemaid, going through the formalities.
The food was prepared by Hulala lakeside lodge and my cake was made by Barbara from Cake Creations.
I designed & printed the stationary, my invited were hand made, message in a bottle, but i used all the stationery from CNA.
We didn't go for dance lessons, our DJ was the one who did all the sound and lighting, it was MD Beats.
