Like all brides say, it was the most special day of my life !
My Husband and i decided we wanted to have a small, intimate wedding surrounded by our family.
We had the privilege of getting married in the same place his parents had their wedding reception, which made our day even that much more special, his Grandparent's back garden in Newlands.
To decorate, we made hessian hearts with photo's of us through the years, (baby pictures included) hanging in the trees with white ribbon.
Cheese, biscuits and wine were served to our guests upon arrival before the ceremony started.
I walked out with my proud dad by my side and my step daughter leading the way carrying our rings, to finally be taken by the hand, by the wonderful man i was about to marry.
My Father-in-law married us under a beautiful cork tree, where we exchanged vows we had written ourselves, with our family seated on blankets which we had made for our special day.
When the ceremony was over, and hugs and kisses were exchanged, we all sat together at the table set on the veranda, over looking the lush green garden and the crystal blue water.
As the sun set, the fairy lights blanketed on the wall behind us lit up and our magical day ended in the way we had pictured our day to be, with our loved ones all around us.
