The ceremony on the day was the most memorable. I really should have done a video of that..walking to the chapel everything blurred as i got closer to the door. As soon as the doors opened and i saw my husbands face things cleared up all i could do was smile as he teared up in awe. We sang the most beautiful two song- how great thou art was the most amazing just declaring God's goodness through my life and on that day. The ceremony was beyond beautiful. There was such a sense of peace and joy in that moment. The other most memorable moment was our first dance. We danced to everything i do by bryan adams. Our dance wasnt coriographed but it was special because we laughed and kissed and my husband spun me around and sang the song to me as we danced.
My wedding look was simple yet elegant. I wore a beautiful off white complete lace wedding dress with an open back. It fit me like a glove. My hair was down and slightlt curled with a thin gold leaf design hair piece and my make up was natural yet stunning.
My shoes were a navy blue pointed shoe with a heel.- my something blue. I wore small pearl earing from my mom which were my something old and borrowed and i wore a single pearl necklace that was my something new.

We got Married at a place called De Haven Oost. Its just outside of Pretoria in Bronkohfspruit. It is such a beautiful place and everything was layed out so beautiful and the whole day ran so smoothly and im so greatful to them.
There was accomodation at the venue. Some guests stayed the night but most guests stayed close enough to drive home after the wedding.
My husband and i gymed everyday until 2 weeks before the wedding. I had my hair trimmed and coloured a week before the wedding and my nails done. But other than that there were no other special treatments that I had done. Just lots of sleep and water.
The chapel had white chair covers on the chairs with a blue lave ribbon and a single sunflower on the aisle chairs and there was a red carpet down the aisle.
Outside the chapel the venue had laid out a table with juicea and water. I rented a popcorn machine and there was also a sherry tree which added such a unique touch. I had our wedding cake made by Piece of cake Pretoria and it was stunning and tasted amazing!
Inside the recpetion, the guest tables were dressed in charcoal table cloths with blue and cream lace overlays crossed over each other. Each table had a centre mirror and a tall vase with large sunflowerw and babies breath flowers and 4 smaller vases around with babies breath inside. There were fairly lights hanginf from the ceiling and tea light candles on stands on the wall. Simple but beautiful.
I chose sunflowers because they were part of a prophetic picture i was given for my life when i was younger and i hose babies breath because it was part of the medicine thay saved my life when i was born.
The froomsmen got their suites from Markhams. And their ties were from woolworths.
My bridesmaid wore a dress made by Gelique. Its a convertible dress which is able to convert into about 12 different dresses.

Happy snaps photography took our photos and i was so impressed. They worked so well with us that by the end of the night tbey felt like part of the family. They did and incredible job!
I planned the wedding on my own and told the wedding venue exactly how i wanted everything. The venue were so accomodating with everything that i needed and wanted.
I didnt need trasport to the wedding. We got ready at the venue which helped so much.
My mother in law did all the printing and designing of my invitations. My mom and i created the board for the seating at the reception and my mother in law also did the little thank you gift boxes too. So greatful to both my mom and my mother in law for all their help and input.
