The goosebumps and breathless moments with the "I do" ; the tranquility of nature celebrating our special day and the spontaneous intimacy of our photo shoot.
We spent a blissful and relaxing week at Winklespruit, Kwazulu Natal south coast.
A natural look with enhancement of best facial features. Contrary to the traditional long hair weddingstyles, I had a short cut style with some colour blend. Professional make up done by Tanya Kaplan. Beautiful, though comfortable shoes. Jewelry traditionally borrowed from a friend to accentuate the wedding colors.
Goose Hill wedding venue- a touch of free state farm beauty with a honeymoon suite and chalets for the guests.
I've treated myself with mani-and pedicures two weeks before the wedding. Frequent visits to the hairdresser to create the perfect hairstyle. Close friends pampered me with beauty products from Sorbet. I've tried to get sufficient rest and increased my water intake daily.
The wedding venue jas their own event coordinator who assisted with decor ideas. I gave basic ideas and different shades of purple and lilac as the wedding colors. The coordinator did all the decor arrangements and everything was just as we've dreamed about.
The groom and groomsmen wore the same color pants with white shirts and similar ties.
Martin Knoetze performed our wedding ceremony on a special and unique spiritual level.
Annesta Bender and her friend Cobus took the most beautiful photos. Capturing every little detail of the day. They've made the whole photo shoot so memorable. I wanted someone that was able to capture the essence of every moment for when we look back, that we can re-live the whole day. They've outdone themselves and that is exactly what we experience every time we look at our pictures.
I did most of the planning myself and handed all over to our wedding coordinator, Jeann-Marie who wrapped up everything perfectly.
The chapel and honeymoon suite-where I got dressed-are all situated on the farm. I had the privilege to walk through nature to the chapel.
The menu was prepared by the venue itself. We served snacks and drinks on an open patio. The main course was deliciously prepared with enormous portions. A decadent sweet table was available throughout the evening. We didn't have a wedding cake.
My dearest friend took my raw ideas and created the most beautiful invitation. We've opted for electronic invites to prevent a delay in delivering it by post.
It was a small wedding with 60 guests, including both families and a couple of friends. Our sound and lighting was done by our nephew who've added a special touch. He ensured that the music kept the dance floor full and the party going. We've been dancing for a few years and my husband chose the song to open the dance floor. It was a surprise to me. When the lyrics started, I spontaneously burst out in joyful tears,as it was the exact song I would've choose.
