Our love story began 24 March 2013, on his Birthday.
I saw him and instantly knew this is the one.
He was the most beautiful man I've ever seen, and I couldn't stop staring.
That night I told my best friend, and my Maid of Honor, that I just met my "droom man".
He told me I was the best Birthday gift that he had ever received.
The were hooked ever since...
24 December 2013, only a few months after we fell inlove, he popped the question.
We spent our first Christmas Eve together at San Lameer Hotel.
We always open presents on Christmas Eve, so he got me a big vintage Jewlery Box, and put the ring inside.
When I opened my gift, I loved the Jewlery Box, but when I opened it, I loved it even more.
Me being very surprised, looked up at him standing on one knee. (I cannot remember a word he said)
I said yes and was still in shock, but so happy.
The staff of the Hotel came walking in one after the other, each carrying something different; big bunch of red roses, box of Chocolates, and Champagne.
It was a wonderful moment, and we just celebrated.
I can honestly say my Wedding was perfect. All the planning and sleepless nights came together and there is nothing I would've done differently.
The most memorable moment to me was our Ceremony. We held on to each other so tight and wouldn't let go.
In that special moment we felt like one person. Giving each other a little smile while squeezing our hands together.
It felt like the world stood still and it was just us two.
We went to the breathtakingly peacefull Blouberg Strand.
With our accomodation overlooking the entire Table Mountain and Waterfront to our left and Robben Island on our right.
It was the most beautiful views and a week to wind down after the build up to the Wedding.
I was going for a little bit of sexiness with a lot of elegance. I love the old fashioned classic elegance feel of things. My dress was the starring element to my look. An Enzoani masterpiece the Jamie Dress from Bridal Wardrobe. a Champagne colored dress, fitted tightly and covered in Jewels.
I paired it with a 1930's hairstyle and natural make up. My jewellery was carefully selected to compliment my dress.

We got Married at Pretoria Country Club. The Ballroom stole my heart with all the Chandeliers and wooden floors.
It had all the elegant elements I was looking for.
Having to worry about your weight just added to all the stress already associated with planning a wedding.
I followed an eating plan and exercised regularly.
I put facial masks on 2/3 times a week combined with a lot of exfoliation of my face and body.
To have a tan-line free bronze and glowing body, I had done a few sessions of tan-can.
My hair was well looked after and so my nails.
About 2 weeks before the Wedding I did teeth whitening.
Sweets were thoroughly enjoyed on the Honeymoon.
There is nothing more beautiful than a Classic Elegant look.
A big Marquee tent was set up for the Ceremony in front of the Ballroom with soft draping. White rose petals formed the isle and white Tiffany chairs complemented the green green grass of the Country Club. In the front was an extravagant Flower arch filled with soft pink and white flowers. In the middle hung a custom made white Chandelier and crystals.
Inside the Ballroom was wooden flooring, high ceilings and Chandeliers hanging everywhere.
Long and round round tables were scattered all over the Hall. Tables were covered in white Demask tablecloths and delicate flower arrangements. Big Silver Candelabra's were placed at the center of all the tables surrounded by crystal candlesticks with soft pink candles.
The Groom wore a dark grey fitted suit, with a crisp white button shirt. Paired with a black tie, belt and black shoes.
The Groomsmen wore a pair of dark grey suit pants and a stripped light grey button shirt. Paired with the same black belt and shoes.
They all received a white rose for their boutonniere.
The Bridesmaids chose the style of their dresses to flatter their bodies. The colors of their dresses complimented my Wedding dress perfectly. White and soft greys.
Their dresses was made by Gelique. And earrings from Forever New.

Leon 'The Wedding DJ' was our entertainment for the night. Although later in the evening the Best man thought he was the entertainer when he got his hand on the microphone.
