This was not only the most amazing day of our lifes but also the most memorable and the most fun day by far. This day was the start to the rest of our lifes together & honestly married life absolutely works for us. Our umbrella motto has made our marraige beautiful: God first, then my hubby and then me. Family and friends dear to our hearts made our day so special and perfect in our hearts.
Destiny Lodge Cullinan: Such a beautiful Venue with so much love and care from every staff member. Pierre the wedding planner making every image of your wedding dream come true is just a blast to work with. This venue has it all from the yummiest food to storages of decòr and linens to choose from.
All i can say is wow. Fransie Pretorius is such a dinamic, energetic and vibrant lady to work with. Don't think there is a moment that goes by that she doesn't capture. If it means she has to leopard crawl in the mud or through the grass to capture that perfect moment this is a lady that will go to the end of the earth to make ur day and memories captured extra special. She is such a treat not just as an individual but as a stunning photographer.
These group of ladies are so up to date and insynced with making your perfect wedding gown and vail come true. With thousands of dresses waiting to be purchased they know how to create the "perfect" you. No stitch is to much effort for them.
This lady can make a mop turn into Cinderella. Her hair and make up skills are just breathtaking. Nothing hairdo is to difficult and no bride to uncalm for her. Stunning personality and will always go the extra mile
All I can say is mmmmmmm yummmm. Irene most definitely went out of her way for us. Everything she makes just leaves you in a awhhh and just makes you feel happy and good. Absolutely stunning wedding cake.
Well thanks to one of our mutual friends having her birthday party. From the first second we introduced ourselves and locked eyes it was tickets for all other fish in the sea. We just connected instantly.
My hubby is a "if the moment is right" he will take it. Apparently after mopping the floor to our favourite ACDC "shook me all night long" song, that was the moment for him. Well I can"t say that he wasn't unique.

Starting the day off with the most important: Thanking God that I get to Marry my person, my best friend and for sending me someone that adors me for who i am.

Getting to spend the day with our friends and family.
We went to Zanzibar - what an amazing experience. The people, the langauge and the culture. We had so much fun, swimming with the dolphins, listening to local jazz bands, walking the local markets and tasting their food.
After Zanzibar we got a gift from family to go to their family home in balito where we enjoyed a lovely, peaceful week of just relaxing and getting to take all the moments in of being married.

Destiny Lodge does all their own catering. The food was delicious and had everyone talking about the food weeks after the wedding.
Our wedding cake was designed by a beautiful lady Irene from Princess Creme.
The cake did not last long as red velvet with creme cheese and choc caramel is a big favourite. It was beautifully designed to our wedding theme which was hummingbirds and wedding colours duck egg and silver.
I designed and did my own printing for the tables. The Venue Destiny Lodge where we got married has everything. They make your wedding planning so much easier
