Everything was perfect on the day, the best memory was with the pastor saying "I pronounce you husband & wife" but I would say one of the other most memorable moments was when it started raining (even though no rain was predicted) and everyone had a ball dancing in the rain, as the ceremony and reception was outside! Was a incredible feeling!
We had a mini-moon just after the wedding in Langebaan for a few days, but our main honeymoon will be in December.
We are flying to Thailand for two week on 26th of December 2017 and can not wait!!!
We got married on a small holding in Gordonsbay. Very private and amazing for the farm look. The small holding belongs to a friend of the bridesmaid. No guests had to stay over, as the us and 99% of the guest are from Gordons Bay / Helderberg area.
Not much, just had some teeth cleaning done and the usual mani & pedi. I'm a very down to earth girl.
We had great support from a lot of friends. Decor was done by Angela, furniture was hired from Downings in Somerset west, tents was sponsored by Oscar, Stage was already on the small holding, lighting we bought a few fairy lights and the other was sponsored by Lize (bridesmaid). Wedding cake was made by Charlene. All our friends/family was a great help with the setting up.
Groom - black pants, white shirt, suspenders was black with white polka dots. Groomsmen - Black pants, dark grey shirt and black suspenders. Nothing was rented. Groom wore socks that said: bruidegom and groomsmen: strooijonker. Most of the outfits they al ready had, but what the extra's that we had to get, we got from De Jagers in Somerset West. We gave the groomsmens a nice cigar with a fancy lighter.
I told my bridesmaids to wear a black dress, in shape, form or cut they want. As long as it looks the same and they feel comfortable. They got their dresses from Truworths in Canal walk and the black shoes they both already had. I just got them the a braclet and a special package to say thank you, with lots of little things in.

The photographer was Astrid from Ever Ever Photography, videographer was Jako from Langeberg Weddings, Photo booth was from Fun Photo booth. I had wonderful service from all of them and not dissapointed at all.

No, it was only the bridesmaids and close friends that helped.
No spesific car was hired, as the you won't have seen me entering with the setup of the tents.
Food was prepared by Jazzy's Pizza from Cape Town, with the setup at the small holding, this was the easiest to cater for all the guests and they all loved it, specially the canape's. The wedding cake was done by my bridesmaids sister Charleen, AMAZING!!!
We did most of it ourselves as I have some amazing creative friends.
We had a DJ, best in town. Het dit the sound, music and lighting. No we didn't take any dance lessons, we had a very slow song as my husband is not really much of dancer. Amazing party!!!! Looked like everyone had a amazing time. A lot a people has said to us, that this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, and again, when the rain started to fall and everyone ran to the dancefloor, was the one of the greatest feelings!!! We were all soaked, not to mention my dress, but once awesome party!!!
