Our Fairy tale started the day I met Len Parsons. My parents met him on the day of our 25th birthday party. My mum pulled me aside and said, that is your soul mate and husband. Len and I are both twins, which is so unique! We both come from very close families.
We immediately set a date for a formal first date to Melrose Arch and could not stop talking. A few years went by of dating and Len flew my to Cape Town for a quick getaway.... on our way to the airport he asked me to open up a beautiful hand written card to tell me our destination and arrival time and to not ask to many questions...haha! He popped the questions in a beautiful restaurant with an amazing photographer capturing every moment in the wine lands. I immediately started on all the wedding plans and booked a date at the most gorgeous wedding venue very dear to our hearts, Oakfield Farm.
The theme is very bold, unique and modern. Colours ranging from Black, White, Gold and Pink. Erna, from Magnifique Floral art did the most amazing arrangement of flowers and décor styling. She captured every details as to how I wanted it. The music was out of this world as I was driven in through the chapel by a Horse n Carriage on the tune of the Gladiator Theme Song by Rike on Sax. There was not a dry seat in the chapel as my father and I walked down the isle with 170 close friends and family from all around the world.
Live Entertainment by Emil Struwig and Alan Simpson a Caricaturist who drew all the stunning couples as a thank you gift.
I am so thankful for a gorgeous day that went absolutely perfect, beyond my expectations. I am now married to my best friend, and I am so excited to see what the future holds.
