A magical fairytale wedding! We couldn't have asked for more, an absolutely dream come true. With all the excitement from the day of our proposal and starting all the planning for our special day, we decided not to get a wedding planner and do everything ourselves, it makes it that more special planning your wedding day with your soulmate! I decided to make my photobooth backdrop myself, a lot of effort went into it and so happy it turned out a massive hit. Over the months leading up to the day of our wedding, I collected all the photobooth props which was so much fun, everything turned out just perfect.

In search of our wedding venue, we had planned a weekend to view all the venues in the Muldersdrift area, we came across the magnificent picture perfect Oakfield Farm Wedding Venue. The minute we walked into the exquisite Forest Chapel, we knew this was the one! Our reception was held in the beautiful Summerhouse venue. We had the most brilliant team of suppliers and the staff from Oakfield Farm were absolutely amazing!

The build up to the day was so much fun and we had the love and support from everyone. The morning of our wedding day I felt so much excitement and couldn't wait to get everything started! Naturally as time went on I started getting those nervous butterflies in my stomach, every bride just wants things to be perfect. The moment the doors of the bridal room opened and I saw my brother waiting outside for me, My nerves had disappeared completely. Our day had finally arrived where my brother would walk me down the aisle to the love of my life. The happiest day ever!!!

I arrived at the Ceremony on a horse and carriage and I felt all the wonderful emotions that one would feel at that point in time, but what gave me so much joy was seeing the love of my life standing at the end of the Aisle with so much love (and some tears :) waiting for me. The moment which I'm sure took his breath away. I married my soul mate, my best friend, and my rock and I couldn't be happier.
