We have social media to thank for our love story. 5 years ago my no husband sent me a message via Facebook. I checked into hospital for a regular check up and he asked if I was "okay?". The rest is history.
The proposal was cute. We went out to one of our favourite restaurant Grazia Fine Food and Wine "Date Night". We had a fun night chatting away. Then when dessert came he organized with the restaurant to place the ring on the ice cream. As cheesy as it may be I loved it.
We have not been on honeymoon yet. We plan to go to Italy next year.
My wedding look was classic and elegant.
Hair - I wanted the whole long hair curl look but when I saw it on the day I totally changed to elegant do.
Makeup - I went with less is more look. I wanted to look beautiful but not "caked"up and still wanted to look myself.
Wedding Dress - I have never worn a ball gown. When trying on dresses it was the last dress I tried on and totally fell inlove with it.
Shoes - Comfort was the order of the day so I went for a classic strappy nude sandal with a touch of diamante.
Lingerie - Comfortable but nice lacy number from Woolies.
Jewellery and Accessories - I am a very simple girl and don't usually accessorize or wear a lot of jewellery. I went with a simple drop diamond earing and a simple bracelet. I did not want anything on my neck.
The wedding ceremony was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
The wedding reception was held at Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium in the Presidents Suite.
Lots of water and walking leading up to the wedding.
I had eyelash extensions but no fancy spa treatments.
I would describe my decor as Opulent Elegance.
All white with a touch of silver.
White Roses with a touch of greenery.

We did not have a photobooth but had a Flowerwall. It was all white with our wedding "logo". Everyone enjoyed posing infront of this wall.
