Bali, Indonesia.
We got married at the award winning De Oude Kraal Country Estate & Spa situated 35km outside of Bloemfontein.
Some of our guests that stayed the night included our very close family as well as friends thay travelled from very far to be woth us on our special day.
I made sure to drink lots of water daily from a month before the wedding. I also went jogging everyday. I went for a facial about 2 weeks before the big day and brushed my teeth daily with charcoal powder to get a beautiful white smile.
Our décor was done by the very talented Ulrich Venter from Grand Room Design. The colours were all pastels (coral, lilac and teal) along with gold touches. We wanted a rustic but colourful look.
My handsome groom wore a dark grey suit that he hired from Euro Suit along with a white shirt and a lilac coloured tie. His groomsmen wore dark grey pants with white shirts, grey suspenders and lilac coloured bowties.
My bridesmaids wore lilac infinity dresses. Infinity dresses are very versatile. I also chose these because my matron of honour had just given birth two weeks prior to our big day.
Our photographer was Suné Ferrreira Lifestyle & Wedding Photography and our Videographer was JP from Perfect Pear Photography.
No I did not have a professional planner. I did most of the planning with help from my Mom of course.
Our beautiful and delicious wedding cake was made by Mari from The Dotted Apron in Bloemfontein.
My husband and I did take a few dance lessons. Our sound and lighting was done by a DJ from Soundbytes.
