It all began when a mutual friend from church wanted to introduce us, and we, being the stubborn people we are, said we were fine with being single... little did we know that we were about to meet our best friend! I ended up with Carl's cellphone number on my phone, without thinking I saved it wrong and when it came to calling an other friend, he answered... AND THE AWKWARD AWARD GOES TO.. (Drum roll please) ... ME!!!
From there we decided to meet up for some sushi, and BOOOOOM , instant best friends :) From there on out we were inseparable. He asked me to be his girlfriend at the Lion's Park in Krugersdorp. Right there and then I realized, this guy knows my heart.
Throughout our relationship you could see God's hand in everything we took on together! He carried us through it all - me being very sick, him changing jobs, family issues (like most of us know)
On my birthday, 11th September last year, we got engaged. Right away we started planning... and just as you thought, NOTHING WORKED OUT!!! (Weddings are expensive guys, with us working in fulltime ministry, it was tough)
So leading up to our wedding - we were blessed with a venue (Industrial Coffee Works) - WHAT A BLESSING. Our photography and videography done by Aiming Suede - www.aimingsuede.co.za/ (check them out, AMAZING) and my hair and makeup done by the one and only Cindy Prinsloo from Cinnedene Make-Up Artist & Aesthetics, my dress by one of my close friends, Jani Bravenboer - I was ready to get married right away!
BUT THEN....
Two weeks before the wedding, I was in a car accident, causing a lot of damage to our car.... THAT'S NOT ALL.... the WEEK BEFORE OUR WEDDING, 3 days to be exact, I had to have my appendix removed... OH WHAT FUN!
Long story short, I left the hospital on the Friday and on the Sunday, 19 February 2017, we had our SPECIAL DAY :) I can't express to someone how happy I am, how blessed I am to have married my best friend, the man of God I get to call my husband... CARL SCHUTTE.
I pray that everyone someday gets to go to sleep and wake up next to their best friend - It's the best :)

I've never been the girly girl type, so with that I never dreamt of what my wedding dress would look like someday, thanks to my amazing friend, Jani Bravenboer, for helping me dream, pray and create! Together we made it work :)
Situated in the heart of Centurion, close to Centurion Mall, you'll find this piece of treasure. Not only do they have THE BEST COFFEE, but we were blessed with our own personalised burger.
Our guests were welcomed with Cold Brews (something I would recommend to any first, second or seventieth visitor), a steristumpie bar was also available to quench the thirst. Our friend Eddie spoiled the guests with is amazing voice and even threw in a few original songs.
One can only love the dreamers (waiters), the eventplanner, Annie Barnett and Owner, Herman Bezuidenhout (keep an eye on this one - BIG THING COMING)

We had our own little CAPE TOWN adventure!
Starting with 5days in Mosselbay, traveling to Knysna and Wilderness.

Cindy’s passion for beauty, art, fashion and modelling influenced her life’s path from a very early age. Her journey as a makeup artist began upon graduating from Face to Face and Internationally recognized City and Guilds, working with a variety of cosmetic companies, brides and private clients.

She is currently working alongside one of South Africa’s most noted photographers, Mardo van Heerden at Steele Model Studio agency as a Model Portfolio make-up artist.
Today, Cindy is one of the most talented and sought after make-up artists in the industry and a Sensai Cosmetics sponsored artist. She is best known for collaborating with her clients, meticulously interpreting their vision and bringing that vision to life.
