My highlight of the day was when I walked down the aisle and seeing my husband waiting for me at the end. I was so happy, because it was a day I was looking forward to for ao long. I had my fairytale wedding and everything I wanted was just like I imagined it. It was also a special to have had my mom,2 brothers and my son included in the wedding. My mom lighted a candle in remembrance of my late father. My younger brother was one of the groomsmen and the older brother drove me to the wedding venue and also walked me down the aisle. My son gave us the rings at the ceremony.
Yes, we went to Cape Town for our honeymoon.
I went for a very elegant look, my dress was an Enzoani dress, my make up was a natural yet sophisticated look. I wore a rose gold heel on my wedding day and decided on silver accessories. My hair was an updo to round off my look.

I didn't have any theme for my wedding, but decided on a soft, romantic and elegant look. I had candles to also add to the look and beautiful centrepieces. There were also fairylights which added to that romantic look.
The groom and groomsmen wore grey suits with peach ties and white shirts. The groom wore a full suit while the groomsmen only completed their look with waistcoats. The groom`s outfit was bought at Woolworths and the groomsmen`s Markhams. Their waistcoats were made.
The bridesmaids wore infinity dresses which they bought from a boutique. Their styles were different and their color was blush pink.
Our marriage officer was Reverend D.A.P. Titus from the Congregational Church in Upington.

No I did not have any wedding planner. I made all the arrangements myself. Was a bit stressfull but my husband helped a lot.
The catering was done by the venue itself, Oranjerus had their own chef. The food was very nice and the guests loved it. The dessert were made by family members and my cake were made by Cerina Van Blerk.
