The whole day was an absolute memorable, magical, loved filled day! My cheeks even hurt from constantly smiling the whole day as it truly is one of the happiest days of your life! The amount of joy experienced is indescribable!
Memorable moments if its possible to even pinpoint one is, just being the only time in ones life where you have all of your loved ones in one room celebrating your happiest day of your life with you!
Highlights for us as we are both lovers of the bushveld was the beautiful ceremony under a massive tree in the veld with wild animals around us, another highlight for us was our photo shoot trying to chase the sunset followed by a premature popping of our champagne bottle missing the 'planned photo shot' completely but capturing perfect natural moments of pure happiness and laughter!
Our country has the most beautiful breathtaking places to offer, therefore we decided to explore locally. The whole honeymoon was a surprise for me so I didn't know a thing until we arrived at our destinations.
We started off in Marloth Park where we spent two nights at the breathtaking Foxy crocodile bush retreat with our unbelievable hosts Mark and Gail followed by game drives in the Kruger National Park.
We then spent the next two nights in St. Lucia, with a beautiful day on the beach at cape Vidal.
Thereafter we spent 2 days in paradise with spectacular ocean views at Swell Eco lodge in the Transkei (North side of Mdumbi river) and lastly we ended off with our last two nights in Addo Elephant National Park at the Spekboom tented camps with a waterhole so close we could even hear the elephants drinking and passing by.
