What an awesome memorable day, my wedding day, a day which I will never forget with all the emotions, heartbeat and absolute jou the moment I opened my eyes that morning. It is the one special day that every girl dreams about and finally all the hours of hard work and planning come together as our unforgettable love story unfolds even further.
We had all four seasons on the day. I woke up at 6 o'clock to the sound of drizzling rain and a stormy wind. A brides worst nightmare but on that moment the weather was the very last thing on my mind as all I could think about was that today I was going to marry my soul mate, forever. Every second of our day was special. How very fortunate and blessed I was that my grandfather would take my down the aisle for the first few steps before my father took over. The most incredible moment for me was when the Amphitheater's door opened and there I was on my way to eternal happiness. How absolute breathtaking it was and how my heart jumped when I saw th way my future husband was looking at me.

Well something unexpected came across our path. We were saving for our honeymoon to go to Bali and three months before our wedding we heard that we needed to move out of the house we were rented. Houses to rent are few and far between and literally impossible to find so we decided to use the money that we had saved for our honeymoon to buy a house. Our dream honeymoon was put onto the bottom of our bucket list and we went on a small honeymoon to Knysna for 2 nights and 3 nights in George.
My dress was a boat-neck almost mermaid style dress with a 3 meter long veil. I adore lace so I choose to have a rose gold satin dress with different textures of soft and rough lace. My makeup was beautifully done to suit the ambiance of my style, soft and natural. My shoes were short heels and delicate with lots of bling. To add to the final touch I wore a precious pearl bracelet and earrings.
We got married in a stunning Amphitheater and which was only a few steps away from our reception in a barn-style venue that is located on the banks of the Seekoei River on the Lombardini Game Farm in Jeffrey's Bay. The majority of our guests stayed the night at Lombardini Game Farm.
I started off with my Placecol skin products. Once a month I went for a non-surgical facial treatment. I wanted to make sure that my skin stayed hydrated and healthy. I changed my eating habits a little and made sure that I drank enough water. I tried my best to go for a run at least 4 times a week.
We didn't have a specific theme but we used decor that was a combination of a "rustic in the woods" look. I used roses, lushianthus and hydrangeas with greenery on the tables.
I always loved Riegard and Eidie from RRAD Photography's photos. Their photos are spectacular and we are so thankful that they captured our pre-wedding shoot and our wedding day memories.
I have always loved the idea and so marvel at the thought of having a vintage car drive me to church. After selecting a few possible cars we chose to drive off in a Citroen 1939.
We had a Harvest table for starters with pre-drinks where our guests could help themselves. The main course was mouth watering and followed with a selection of delightful little desserts prepared by Lombardini Game Farm. Our wedding cake was made by a very talented lady, Jenelle Stocker
