Our honeymoon was positioned in the bush only minutes' walk away from the famous Crocodile River and Kruger National Park. We stayed in a beautiful tree house that had it's own private deck overlooking the Kruger National Park. We then later travelled to Sabie and Graskop in Mpumalanga, and decided to go site seeing. We went to see God's window, Mac Mac Falls, Blyde River Canyon and much much more.
A few days before the wedding I got a flower crown made at a florist in our area. The flower crown had soft baby pink roses and baby's breath all around. I decided on a much softer look for myself because my wedding dress already had loads of bling.

De Haven Oost Wedding Venue is a quaint nostalgic country Venue nestled in the countryside east of Pretoria and offers an amazingly romantic atmosphere reminiscent of yesteryear. At De Haven Oost they create an experience and transform an ordinary celebration into one that sparkles with that prefect fusion of food, friends, family, laughter, music, colour, romance and rhythm. We stayed over in the honeymoon suite for the night. Our venue was so perfect. We had no problems or complaints.
The groom wore a dark grey suit with black trims, then a baby pink tie and brown suspenders and shoes.
The groomsmen wore a lighter grey formal chinos with baby pink bow ties and brown suspenders.
My bridesmaids wore baby pink infinity dresses. I wanted the colour of the dress to be soft and cute. I told the bridesmaids they were allowed to pick their own style when it came to the infinity dresses.
Our very own Pastor from our church we attend in our area. He watched us grow up over the years and we thought it would be such an honour to have him marry us on the big day.
Our photographer became more than just our photographer, she became a true friend to us. She made us feel so comfortable on our engagement shoot and even on our wedding day. Our photographer was Chrystal Design and Photography.
Our wedding coordinator came with our venues package. She was there to help whenever I needed her, and always insured me things were going perfectly fine and its finally time to walk down the aisle. She was with me every step of the way.
All done and prepared by our beautiful wedding venue we picked.
Our wedding cake were small cheese cakes on the side and a cheese cake top tier to cut for photos.
All our guests couldn't get over the fact that the food was to die for and EVERYONE went back for seconds and even thirds. We didn't get a chance to sit and eat so we loved that our wedding coordinator put food aside for us and gave it to us when we had the chance to relax.
I designed my wedding invitations, Thank you's and pretty much all the wedding stationery. I am a qualified graphic designer and I had such a ball designing my own wedding things.
Our wedding venue supplied all the lighting and the DJ for the night. The DJ played such good music and followed our requests to the exact! We were very impressed.
We had a casual romantic dance to our song, and it just ended up to be so special, regardless of the fact that we didn't go for dance lessons nor even try practice once.
