From walking down the aisle heart pounding as i walk towards the man of my dreams all i could see is the smile on his face making me want to just run to him but unfortunately in my high heels and buff-on dress that was the last thing i could do as i had to walk as slow as a snail .
The next fond memory i remember having is as the high tea while Eric the singer was just serenading the guest while they refuel and just take in the beautiful scenery and divine food. I just remember seeing everyone having a good time it was such a lovely feeling.
My Favorite part though of the wedding was when we entered the reception and i was announced as Mrs Govender and the way my now husband held me and looked at me gave me the butterflies . Also the entire night was a blast as our entertainer Jailoshnie and aunty Rumba were fantastic making us and the crowd laugh so hard that we could cry. :)
We were so blessed that the Lord Jesus allowed everything to go on perfectly.
My Hair was left open with Curls and a Crown as i just wanted something simple , my make up was done by Khadija Radiant Image. My dress was amazing a Cinderella dress from Jazmins Bridal the most amazing wedding dress shop to visit. Shoes wer stunning and comfortable from a Shoe Boutique in Mall of Africa.Lingerie was from 021 Lingerie store in Durban North most gorgeous Lingerie ever. Our beautiful diamond rings from Browns glistened like nothing we have seen before!
We Got married at the Faith Center Church in Marlvern and our high tea and reception was at the gorgeous Durban Botanical Gardens
Decor was superbly down with pagodas and stunning gazebos and stretch tents at the pond area for the high tea and the glass marquee from start hire at the lake was draped and the stage and table setting decorated to perfection by Koogan Pillay with the most beautiful perspects clear ramp with gold flowers inside them,not forgetting all the fresh colorful stunning fragrant flowers set up all over the table and stage was breathtaking done by Kogies Florist, A true work of art. The Lighting was stunning supplied by magic lighting. Everything was simply elegant, classy and stunning.
My Groom looked dashing in his Bagozza suit from shadows and our handsome groomsmen looked lovely in their suits from Zara.
Each Bridesmaid looked elegant and super gorgeous in the royal blue dresses from Yde and coral accessories from Contempo Mall of Africa

The most delicious food ever, sublime and divine describes the food from the grilled prawns to the fried fish, roast lamb and chicken tikka to name a few. Everything was the best. Indian Delights really outdid themselves. Divesh is amazing.
The wedding cake was done by The Baking Room Durban and Sarisha really knows how to make a yummy chocolate cake. Every detail of the cake was perfect the effort and time she puts into the task is amazing no wonder she wins the NWJ Wedding fair competitions.
Dj Kessa did my sound and Music for the party and he was really amazing to work with. He kept the crown going all night.
