The day was a page from a fairy tale....
Walking up the stone steps to our church, my heart thumping with each step.
My veil being blown off my head by 70+km/ per hour winds as I was about to enter the church
Seeing my groom waiting for me....Smiles nerves and more smiles
Seeing all my family, friends, and students- having all my people, that I cherish so much, support us on this amazing day
Our first official kiss as Mr and Mrs
Looking across the room to see happy smiling, joyful friends and family.
Seeing months of team work pay off by enjoying an amazing night in Cape Town as husband and wife.
Riding home with my husband...and sharing some quiet time reflecting on the last few hours
The day was magical, and over too soon.
Bali, Baby!
After a week of frantic phones calls, flight mix ups, that would have seen us on different flights and arriving on different days...we finally took off on the same flight!
Tarryn Bezuidenhout was always my first and only choice to make my dress. She made me feel like an absolute princess, and totally confident. She has an exquisite eye for detail and for what works well for your body. Her craftsmanship is beyond amazing. Tarryn also made the Mother of the Brides dress-which was one of a kind stunning.
Alana Du Plooy was my make up artist, as wel as doing the make up for the bridesmaids and my mom. Totally trust her with anything!
Avi, at Carlton Canal Walk did my hair- and it held with 70km per/hour winds! Amazing job!

We wanted a traditional, old school feel- supported by the idea that we held our wedding reception in a library....classic, elegant, warm, cosy and intimate.
It looked like a scene from a Fairy tale, and even though it wasn't exactly the intention, our guests said they felt like they walked onto the set from Beauty and Beast...or the Queens Ballroom :-)
My husband wore a tailored Carducci Suit.
Groomsmen hired their suits from Eurosuit.
