It was a day filled with fun n laughter. Our highlight was definetly dancing to the beat of our special song ....which was totally unplanned mind you.
So we were spoilt by a family member who treated us to a week in mpumalanga at the highlander coastal resort. The ultimate honeymoon destination with romance brimming in the air
Before the wedding bells I knew who I wanted as my dress up artist. The best in the industry n I would not budge for any less. Theshen naicker of kenville. Many know him as the preffered aunty sheila. I left my hair and make up unto him. Although I knee I wanted a totally diff bridal look with my hair down instead of the common buns. From my bridal gown to jewellery and shoes I wouldn't settle for the ordinary I had purchased an outfit from the bridal fair but wanted to add a really personal touch. So I had designed my blouse and had it made in india, I learnt of a Lady in ghaziabhad who could do exactly what I imagined and trusted her completely. The tradition is to change into another hand picked outfit from the groomside but instead I opted to change only my veil. The veil I entered with was gold and had a trail of a christian bride. Designed and made by my designer mom. Shoes were chosen for comfort and not the look. It was gold and cream glittered Cinderella wedges. My feet thanked me for this at the end of the day.
With all the wedding planning and running around there was no time to sit back with my feet up. Although I had a facial done 2 weeks prior to the wedding and my nails pampered 2 days before the wedding. This bridal couple pampered themselves on their honeymoon.
