The highlight of my wedding day was being walked down the isle by my Uncle, who has been caarrying me everyday of my life. Also, sharing Holy Communion with my Husband at the altar was a very special moment.
We are going to Jamaica in February 2018.
I went for a classic look without compromising on my natural african heritage. I styled my natural hair and added accessories. I only used studded earring for jewellery. My dresses was very detailed so very little accessories were needed. I want to recognize Gert Johan Coetzee for the excellence he displayed in created my masterpiece dress, I love it and would not change a thing about it. I bought a simple but elegant Vince Camuto shoe and used a Bvlgari Fragrance.
I got married at Illanga Etstae in Bloemfontein. The venue was serene and absolutely stunning. It had all the facilities we needed and we didn't have to go elsewhere to take pictures.
We were priveledged to have found Tasha of Tasha Style who put together the most stunning decor. We used the colours midnight blue, gold and white. One of my favourite things about the decor was the laterns and candles in the tables.
We had an elaborate flower arrangement from Alive and Divine Flowers in Bloemfontein as well. Michelle fixed up a stunning bouquet of fresh stargazer lillies for me which I loved.
My Husband was in a suave tailor made, navy blue, textured Polo suit which he paired with a double-breasted waistcoat and a matching tie. He wore a Ben Sherman boot and Paco Robanne fragrance.
The groomsmen were in Kurt Geiger suits and white shirts with brown suspenders, brown shoes and brown belts.
My brides maids had midnight blue dresses made with a lace top over a sweetheart corset. The dresses were long and had gold detail in the form of large crystals on the belt of the dress. They wore them with gold heels and gold accessories.
Our church Pastor, Pastor Albert from Christian Revival Church in Bloemfontein.
We engaged the services of a professional photographer Elosie and her vidoegrapher Husband Desmond. They included a another photographer for us and caotured every single moment from when both my Husband and I and the bridal party were getting dressed, to all the happenings throughout the day and afterwards.
I did not really need any as I had everything set up at the venue and slepr there.
The venue prpared the food based on a menu selection we made form their buffet options, it was truly delicious and classy. Everything was prepared and presented on time.
The cake was made by Charlene from Cakes4Brides in Bloemfontien and it was a simple and stylish cake that I adored.
Both my Husband and I have left feet unfortunately but we did rehearse with the rest of the bridal party to a song we had been searching for for the longest time! The flower girls and ring bearer were the first to go in and dance at the reception followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen. It was epic.
We had a live band with a dj. The live band brought along vocalists who reallt pumped up the crowed. The band was definitely a hughlight of my day. They played all the songs we asked them to and more.
