Our wedding day was the most memorable day. I was calm throughout, which was weird considering that I am a perfectionist. We woke up early, proceeded to the venue and started with hair and make up. We danced in the bridal suite, laughed and enjoyed one another’s company. I will never forget praying before the ceremony. Mike and I held hands, standing on either side of the wall (he wasn’t allowed to see me). It was there where I felt the presence of God. He brought us together and no man shall separate that. It was there that I couldn’t wait to be his bride. Walking down the aisle, he took my breathe away. His tears were a testimony to how much he loved me. I was so grateful for that moment. I will never forget our first dance. My husband stressed for weeks on end about it, but everyone loved it! We kept it upbeat and added a bit of spice at the end. There was not a moment I didn’t enjoy or don’t consider important. However, the most memorable moment was when we spent 5min alone, just holding one another and embracing the moment. I am forever grateful for him. I must just say: my mom and I rocked our hip hop routine and the amount of cheers we received is a memory I will never forget.
We are currently on honeymoon. We spent an incredible week at Spier, in Stellenbosch. Why go overseas when you have the most beautiful country ever? We are now in Jacobsbaai, touring the west coast. I married the most romantic man. We have not stopped laughing and eating. Best memories made.
I knew since I was a little girl I wanted an open back wedding dress which incorporated lace on the top. I never imagined getting a form fitted dress, however, that is what made me feel like a million dollars. Oh and of course, my husband loves my curves. I am obsessed with rose gold. My dainty belt, hair piece and jewelry incorporated the beautiful colour along with pearls. I do have a bit of a edgy side, so my hair was done up in a messy style.

We got married in Pretoria, at Imperfect Perfection. Wow, what an incredible venue and team. Not only did it look stunning. I did not have to stress about anything. Nothing short of perfectly, imperfect.
I started gymimg properly pretty late, around 10 weeks before the wedding. However, I stuck to a very strict eating plan. I only had one cheat meal a week; I made sure I pushed weights and did high intensity workouts. I also went on Herbalife: drinking one meal replacement and protein shake most days. I lost over 25cm. The day before my wedding my brisdemaids treated me to a spa day at Soulstice. It was incredible.
Our decor and flowers were done by Love and Grace. What a team. Our wedding colours were baby blue and pink. Pink and white roses were the basis of the flowers, with lots of greens and hibiscus in between. Rose gold was incoperated in the form of geometric shapes. Romantic candles were placed everywhere. We use industrial lights and above the bridal table was the most beautiful flower
The groom and groomsmen wore navy blue suits provided by Your Pal boutique, in Brooklyn mall. My husband had a wooden bow tie with a pink accent in the middle, made by My Bro Tie. The groomsmen wore navy blue bow ties that matched the suits. They rounded it off with brown shoes and a brown belt. The suits were fitted to perfection.

I went for a light pink/blush colour with rose gold sequence on the top. The ladies dresses were finished off with a romantic cold shoulder. They looked stunning and it really matched the blue navy tuxedos. I found the look on Pinterest and then found a bridal boutique that makes them.
Our marriage officer was our Pastor at our church: CRC.
Who’sannah photography did our incredible photos. She is incredibly talented and made us feel so comfortable. My husband usually does not like photos but said he felt so at ease. The photos came out better than we ever expected. She does also do stop motion.
Lene at Imperfect Perfection and her incredible team made sure everything was put together. She coordinated the whole day and the weeks leading up to the wedding.
The venue has a beautiful light blue vintage car that drove me up to the front of the chapel. The chapel and the reception is on the same property.
Imperfect Perfection did everything. The food is still being raved about! They had the cake made and made sure there was enough amazing food to feed our hungry friends and family. We even had people go back for thirds.
Love and Grace printed everything we needed for our wedding. We made the thank you gifts by ourselves.
The party was amazing!!! My mom and I performed a hip hop routine which we got dance lessons for. My husband and I also had a dance lesson done by a friend. The DJ was awesome and did all our sound throughout the wedding. From the chapel, to the deck reception and the reception itself.
