The most memorable moment was the moment he sealed us with a thee kiss
We went to jeffreys bay for our honeymoon
I had a whimsical theme for my wedding look starting with ..my wedding dress: the most important dress that a girl ever wears; mine was a mermaid style wedding dress with a beautiful sparkles and a long tulle train with an even longer veil...shoes: rosegold stilletos ( the woman in me loves sexy shoes)...jewellery: i only wore simple chandelier type earrings and a bracelet with a leaflike votive to add to enhance the whimsical effect... my hair was styled in a updo, with lots of playful curls, but still very elegant and I completed the look with my cousins bridal comb (something borrowed)...my make up was understated, very natural yet gorgeous, all adding to the princess whimsical princess look!
We had our nuptials at the beautiful Pat Busch Mountain Reserve in Robertson and our guests stayed over aswell as the venue has accomodation available
I did not follow any regime; I just drank lots and lots of water in the month leading up to the wedding and ate healthy foods as much as possible
Our colour scheme for the weding was Marsala, Dusty Pink and Rosegold, so Completing the whimsical theme: Our reception was held outside in a white tent rented and set up by tentmen from bonnievale; they installed the lighting(naked globes) and supplied the all white dance floor. I had wooden Marsala coloured table names made according to 1Corinthians 13 as centerpieces , with beautiful flowers done by adenes farm flowers and completed the look with rosegold candles I bought in Cape Town ...set up on whitewashed tables with dusty pink tablerunners.I hired Phoenix chairs in from jack&jill hiring and we used the tables, crockery and cutlery supplied by our wedding venue
My husband wore a navy suit, bought online and his groomsmen wore white shirts with Marsala coloured bowties, suspenders and pants
My bridesmaids wore a very earthy bronze dress with lace details and mesh backs bought at a local shop, nude heels , earrings in a rosegold colour and completed their look with upstyled hair
Ds. M James from the church I attend
My photographer was the very adventurous and talented Delouise from Delouise g Photography... She made everyone feel so comfortable and took the most stunning photographs!
No I planned the whole wedding myself, as I wanted to have the whole experience
We had Boland Spitbraai for the main course, and a family friend for the starters and desserts. Our wedding cake was made by Lourettas Bakery located in Robertson
With the help of the well known GOOGLE, i designed and printed everything
We literally had one dance practice 2 nights before our wedding as we were soo busy! We partied the night away with our awesome dj Mentoz who was in charge of all the sound
