One of the biggest highlights for me was walking down the aisle with my dad, towards my hubby to be. What a special moment involving the two most important men in my life. Then saying my vows and "I Do" to my husband.
Another highlight was seeing how much fun our guests were having. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day
Oh what a story...
So my wonderful husband was surprising me with a trip to Bali just to find out Bali can't happen due to a volcano eruption.
After a few trips back and forth to the airport we were finally on a flight to Mauritius by day 3. We had an amazing time there. Definitely a story we'll be telling for years, hehehe.
After everything was done that needed to be done and I looked in the mirror... I looked and felt amazing. A princess in a whimsical fairytale, my fairytale.

What a magical wedding venue. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
It does not have accommodation on site, but has a few guesthouses down the road. The country guesthouse, 96 winery road is where some of the guests stayed and where the party continued.

She is such a gentle soul and great at what she does. She made us feel so at ease and sometimes I even forgot she was there, but she captured every special moment perfectly.
Marilou Marais was the venue caterer. The food was amazing, from harvest table to a lovely roast buffet.

Dance lessons weren't part of the budget or plan, but thanks to our rhythm it pulled us through. ;)
The party was one for the books. Everyone had so much fun. We had a jukebox for musical entertainment and everyone had a ball with this fun toy. Definitely a big hit.
