It was such a beautiful perfect day. Simplistic with no stress
No honeymoon yet ;-(
Our look was Rustic. Hair and makeup was done by Beauty by Megan, wedding dress was an original Gerda B Design and I wore cowboy boots with my dress. The pearl necklace was a gift my late dad had given to my mom, so by me wearing it on the day was just a way that he was with me on our special day
Our celebration was at the Stables at the Mountain View Farm. A lovely rustic area
The docor was Rustic, being at the Stables at the Mountain View Farm it was a perfect fit. The Candles I had made myself as well as decorated the jars to match the candles. The flower arrangements were done by ourselves as well. We had purchased the flowers from the vendors in City Central and did the arrangements in the jars. I had the coasters and log circles engraved by Little Woodpecker, you quote we cut as well as the selfie square done by them. And rented the log cupcake stand from them as well. The venue was kind enough to let us use their log rings for the placings on the tables.
The groom and our son wore a timeless long sleeve white shirt and chino slacks to go with the dress and decor
Safra from Safra Funki Pics captured our beautiful special day
There was no wedding planner at all. I took all matters into my own hands. I knew what I wanted and how I wanted it, so I ran with everything on my own. That way there was no stress or worry if something was not going to go right or not be sorted out for our big day
The venue had supplied the Spit Lamb and salads. It was absolutely divine and our wedding cake and cupcakes were done by my amazing friend Simone Bouwer of Casey's Sugar Treats
We had a lovely party with our close friends and family, the Dj was a close friend of ours, Michael and his assistant Lindsay who was at school with us. We did not take dance lessons at all. Our day was just the way we were. Very laid back and relaxed with the love of all our family and friends to share this special moment with us
