We spent 8 days in Holland, experiencing the country side and of course Amsterdam, we then spent a further 6 days in Bali! What an amazing Holiday!
I had a garden themed wedding. I had a lace A line dress for the hot summers evening and a princess tulile skirt for the ceremony. My hair was pulled back into a loose braid with dangling curls. My husband's wedding girl was a swarovski tenis bracelet which finished off the jewelry look perfectly. I also wore my mother's tear drop Tanzanite earning and necklace set.
We had the ceremony and reception at Monchique Guest house in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg. Our immediate family and Bridal Party checked into the Bed and Breakfast and we had a lovely Bridal Breakfast before I was whisked off for our Honeymoon.
The décor was hand made by myself and the guests. Leading up to the wedding we had organised DIY Braai's where we would all get together in small groups of 10, we also used this as an opportunity to have the guests get to now each other for the big day. we laugh, we drank and we managed to complete 450 bottles. I had collected large bottles from various friends, families, and restaurants and bars. We then soaked off the labels and decorated some of the with coloured chalk paint and others with hessian ribbons and coloured stones. We had taken rock roses out of our garden that myself and my husband had nursed back to health and places the at each place setting as a thank you gift. I had placed tree truck slices as the under plates that were finished off with the wedding monogram.
My Husband wore a grey suit with black finishing, where the groomsman wore navy blue suits
The Bridesmaids wore pastel infinity dresses worn in their own style to complement their personalities,
