It feels like yesterday when we had our very first "hello`s" to each other.
A quick introduction to our first engagement as two single people.
The very first conversation we had was about my feet and shoes, (pick up line if you ask me) and yes I don`t have pretty feet at all if you were wondering. I was wearing a wedge sandal that tied around my ankle the night I met my future husband. Till today he appreciate a good pair of beautiful shoes on my feet.

It was a fun summer holiday romance we had in 2012. After the holiday he went his path and so did I, we lost contact and three years went by. In 2015 he saw me at a wedding, about two weeks later he message me " Hi kan ek jou nommer kry asb." and then we started texting. On 5 October 2016 we had our first date at Blue Peter in Blouberg Strand. What an amazing day we had with the most amazing sunset.
9 Months went by and a sunny Sunday morning he ask me to be his girlfriend, with a table of flowers spelled out "will you be my girlfriend?" so romantic. I still get butterflies.

It was a very cold day in the beautiful Prague. The day started of normal, with some sightseeing and a glass of Gluhwein at every Christmas market.
I was told the day before (26 December 2016) that we will be having dinner at a very "fancy" place and 16:00, to me it was normal because we enjoy good food as a couple and our daily planning is around good food and restaurants. He bought me a nice jacket the morning to wear to the "fancy" supper.
On our way in a railway train to the dinner, he was all weird and was standing on his own with his hands in his pockets looking all jittery, I just thought my poor boyfriend he must be so hungry.
Arriving at the scene, but take note Prague is the city of Love so every thing romantic goes and everywhere there`s love language.
Oops, it is 16:00 and the boat is closed. Calmly my boyfriend said that he received a e-mail they will pick us up at the boat for the supper, but still he was weird and avoiding any form of physical contact.
After a few minutes he said that we should take a walk. This walk was located in front of the Prague Castle and next to the Charles Bridge that crosses the Vitava river. My boyfriend then ask me, what he did many times on our winter holiday in Europe to strike a pose. O silly me ask the romantic guitarist with his candle light set up if he would mind me taking a photo, "No lady, please go ahead". The next moment after my semi photo shoot my boyfriend told me, facing the Castle we must leave. I turned around, and it was him, my boyfriend on one knee. He was looking me deep in the eyes on one knee and started crying, I was so overwhelmed seeing a ring and him on one knee crying. The only words coming out of his mouth is "I love you", "I love you". He then spoke the most beautiful words ever and asked me to become his wife. "YES!!!" and a thousand time yes again. He organized all the way from South Africa a proposal setup, a professional photographer and a guitarist. I am blessed with the most amazing proposal ever.
