My most favourite memory of our wedding day by far is the moment I saw my husband waiting for me at the Isle, tearing up a little bit.
He is me absolute favourite person. And I adore and love him to bits...
Then small things that meant the world to me was the moment my Dad saw me for the first time, walking me down the Isle and giving me to my husband.
Then other highlights like the Fathers-and-daughter dance. (I had the privilege of dancing with my dad and my new father.) The same with the mothers-and-son dance.
We had the absolute best photographers. They made us feel so comfortable and at home, we also had a few silly, special and laughable moments . Definitely the best decision asking them to be a part of our day.
Then all the family and friends that shared our special day with us.
Yes we were privileged enough to go on honeymoon. We visited Zanzibar, Uroa Bay Beach Resort
I wanted to feel beautiful, comfortable but yet still beautiful.
I had an awsome team supporting me, and ensuring that our wedding day was perfect, and that I felt and looked like I always dreamed about as a little girl.

We got married at Makiti, in Krugersdorp. Using their Ballroom Venue.
It was such a lovely day and Ananda and her co-staff members at Makiti, made every bit of the day special. I didn't have a thing to be worried about. Thank you Ananda.
Our quest were able to use the facilities and accommodation at Makiti Wedding Venue.
We decided on using plane but yet elegant decor. Flowers were done by Ananda at Makiti, we used their lighting and furniture aswell.
We made use of navy blue and white, our tables were mainly decorated in white with a touch of navy blue. White roses and fairy lights to give a warm feeling.
My incredible handsome husband wore a light blue suit, with a white shirt and a blue tie and a blue suspender and brown shoes. His suit we bought at Woolworths. It was a limited addition.

I've been a Bridesmaid so many times. My utmost plan was to choose a dress that all the bridesmaids will certainly feel comfortable in and yet look beautiful.
We chose a navy blue dress, that were tight on top and then it flowed /clocked out to the bottom. They looked absolutely beautiful and elegant.
Our marriage officer was Ds. Dolf. He has a marriage organisation called Song of Songs Marriage Ministries. We learned so much from him it was truly a joy getting to know him and walking this road with us.
We were absolutely blessed with the best Photographer. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole day.
Alexander Smith captured the special moments of our day. His talent is truly a gift from God.
He brings a warm energy to the room that is heart warming and welcoming. We didn't feel uncomfortable at all. He always has a joke in his pocket, or even when he explained how we must stand for the photos, he made us laugh, he just got involved in everything without any questions asked. They are easy going people, and we absolutely adored their presence. Thank you Alexander and team.
Makiti did provide a wedding planner. Ananda was mostly available for all decor, flowers and on the day coordination and planning

The cake was baked and made by Monique Grobler.
Makiti also provided a DJ for us.
Storm was the DJ on the day of our wedding. And he did an exceptional job. The dance floor was never empty.
