Road trip through Clarens, Drakensberg and Uvongo. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were in Uvongo so we are currently now in JBay and then Port Elizabeth on our second honeymoon :)
I opted for a classic style wearing a ball gown without any lace. My make up was a more natural look and i wore my hair down with a few curls in between. I wore a pair of dusty pink heels from Aldo and a pair of leather flats from Blu Betty. My bridesmaid borrowed me a ring with a blue stone in it as my something blue as well as a pair of earrings because i forgot mine!

We had our function at Oakfield Farm which is rather close to home so no guests stayed over. We had a garden wedding under the trees in the beautiful yellowwood chapel and had our reception at the gorgeous Summerhouse.
I am such a plain Jane! All i had done was a mani and a pedi at Sorbet with dusty pink as my colour of choice.
Our theme was that of a forest floor. Each table had an arrangment of moss, fern leaves, delicious monster leaves, grasses, white lanterns and glass domes. There were small white flowers as well as tree stumps and loads of greenery. We also had an arch in the outdoor yellowwood chapel with greenery and st joseph lilies. All the decor was done by the amazing Pretty Bunches team.
The groomsmen wore black jeans with brown shoes, belts and suspenders to match. These were custom made by wanderer handcrafted leathers. They also wore leather bow ties from the Colony. Their shirts were blue from Old Khaki. The groom wore black jeans with a tailor made dark brown waistcoat. He had his leather belt and leather tie to match which were also custom made by the Wanderer.
My bridesmaids were dressed by forever new. They wore light pink skirts with a camisole of their choice. The one wore a white camisole and the other a dusty pink one. I had a flower girl who wore a light pink dress with a crown of greenery and white flowers on her head.
Stefan Zeelie, a pastor from Weddings Galore. He did a non denominational ceremony and he was amazing, the service was short and sweet, the way we wanted it and he even took a selfie with us!
Our photographer was Leanne van der Merwe from Whosannah photography. We love her work because her pictures are moody and indie in style which made sense with our forest and nature theme.
No, only the sales co ordinator from Oakfield Farm, Cynthia Dube who was awesome.
I came into the chapel in a horse drawn carriage.
Food was supplied by the venue, it was a 4 course meal and everything was amazing. Our cake was done by Sweet Joy, a 3 tier semi naked cake. The bottom layer was lemon, middle layer was caramel and the third tier was nougat. We had a trail of greenery down the side of the cake. Everyone said the cake was amazing!
My wonderful husband did all our stationery and all the designs. His work was beautiful!
