I was blessed with the most amazing team. My dress was made by my close friend Kobus Dippenaar who is such a magician and creative genius. He went all out and knows me so well. We wanted to do something different and the dress was inspired by the architecture of the venue.
Make up was done by La'eeqa who is the most talented person I have ever met when it comes to make up. She used Catrice cosmetics to contour and kept it natural looking as I don't like to wear a lot of make up and she knows me quite well.
My jewellery was from Diamond works. You simply fall in love with each piece they have. They also hand crafted my ring from concept to completion. It was such an amazing experience seeing it all come together. I have become family with the Diamond Works team.

At the foot of the Waaihoek Mountain, situated in the beautiful Breede Valley, lies the perfect hideaway, Bosjes. I was lucky enough to be one of the first brides to get married at this newly opened heavenly venue.
Rich in history and natural splendour, with steep mountain ranges on both sides, and the Breede River that winds through the valley, it is an off the beaten track place of rest and quiet. Visitors to Bosjes will find the journey worthwhile, if only to see the Chapel, an architectural masterpiece, and to enjoy the landscaped Chapel gardens.
Hiking, and game- and bird-watching draw nature lovers to this working farm, where fine wines complement the local olive oil, and masses of flowers are cultivated in the surrounding fields.
Mouth-watering meals and home treats spoil guests in the family friendly bistro and tea garden, while luxury accommodation ensures peaceful sleep.
Julie from Julie Killias events did the flowers and decor. I loved the natural pallet, wood, white, green elements and she combined everything beautifully. I love a simple romantic look and I felt that the venue leant itself to a certain look and she got it right perfectly.
Hubby and I wanted the day to social and great atmosphere. We opted for couch pocket setup and everyone could sit where they wanted. We wanted it to feel like you are visiting with your friends at their home. I feel that we hit the nail on the head. It was the most fun I have ever had and literally everyone had such fun.
The tree was beautifully lit up and I feel that lighting makes such a big difference. The tree to me was the main feature as it symbolises the tree of life and had a lot of sentimental value to me. The lighting in the tree set the atmosphere and mood. The importance of lighting and good sound should never be underestimated. My bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning. They communicated with each other and arranged their dresses themselves with the same designer. Each chose a style they felt comfortable in and they literally looked like greek goddesses each and every one of them. Although ment for them, I received so many compliments about how they looked. I was incredibly proud to have each and every one of them by my side.
Mark Le Grange amazing to work with and delivered beautiful memories. I wanted to have someone who captured emotions and real moments. Posed photos are inevitable but there are also those "moments" that not everyone gets. Your images is the only thing you have to remember your big day by and getting the right photographer is almost one of the MOST important things. I am so happy with my photos and proud to share them http://marklegrange.com/
Julie from Julie Killias Events did a stunning job and comes highly recommended. Having someone like Julie really took the stress of planning a wedding away. I felt so at ease and confident that everything would be just perfect. She has done so many high profile weddings and events, she managed mine seamlessly, her team is also just as amazing. http://juliekillias.co.za
