My princess wedding dream surely came true! It was all so perfect and so many highlights. I knew this will be happily ever after, when my mother walked me into the chapel and I saw my husband, with a big smile and eyes filled with tears. After the ceremony we cut our beautiful cake and had a drink with our guests before we went off to take some photos, where we had much fun and laughter with our groomsmen and bridesmaids. The reception was so joyful. One of the many highlights of the reception was the table songs (the guests did not know about), so when the food was ready the MC told the guests that they must first dance their table songs, in the order of their table numbers, and to our surprise all the guests danced, even the ones that never get on a dance floor, and we believe they all enjoyed it just as much as we did. There were lots of surprises for us as well, from where the mother and daughter dance were "interrupted" with all the groomsmen dancing with me to where my husband had to do the "Magic Mike" dance for the honeymoon fund raising. Our wedding day was perfect in every way!
We went to Cayley Lodge in the Drakensberg for a week where we explore the beautiful mountains. From the Drakensberg, we spend a night at Komatipoort, and from there we went to White Sands in Mozambique for a week, where we enjoyed the beautiful warm see, did some snorkeling and visit some islands.
I went for the plain with a dash of elegance look. My mother bought my beautiful A-line dress with my vale at Bridal Manor. Linda from Jolin Hair salon did some excellent work with our hair, exactly as we wanted from the pictures I showed her, for my hair, as well as the bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls. Marnel Joubert did our make-up, that looked beautiful. I bought my wedding pumps at a local store. It had rose gold glitter on, that matched my jewellery perfectly. My husband bought my pearl and rose gold wedding jewellery for me as a birthday gift. I ordered my farm style garter with windmills on from Fraai Maraai, that matched the theme of our wedding, and off course because my husband love windmills.
We got married at Tsekama Wedding Lodge in Nylstroom. We had the venue for the entire weekend, where most of our friends and family slept over from the Friday. There is accommodation at the venue for 48 people, as well as nearby accommodation where some our guest spend the night. Tsekama's accommodation also includes breakfast, that was delicious.
We bought beige chinos for the groomsmen, with plain white shirts for the groomsmen and groom. The waistcoat were made for the groom, with 2 layers of different colors matching the trouser of the groom and the chino's of the groomsmen. We bought the leather suspenders from Fraai Maraai, matching the groom and groomsmen outfits. We made the shoulder bouquets, with wine corks and hessian with a dash of pink ribbon to match the bridesmaids.
We had the bridesmaid dressed made by Cornelia Human. Nice summer dresses, with white top and pink skirt combined with a white ribben that was not to elegant but still stylish, with rose gold jewellery and pink rubber shoes with a ribben on top.

Izelle and her Husband Billy from IW Photography captured our special day. We are so thankful for all the beautiful photos. With the wedding, it all pass so quickly you don't always get the time to take it all in, but with the photos we can relive our wedding day daily. We had so much fun with the guests at photo booth with all the props.
Tsekama Wedding Lodge prepared the food, and also made our wedding cake. The food and cake was so nice, and do we still here the guests talking about how nice the food and cake was.
My mother in law have her own laser cut machine, and did they help us to make a wedding album where polaroid photos were taken from the guests, to paste their photo in the album, decorate it and write down their blessings.
We practiced our dance routine in our living room with some friends and family members.
Tsekama Wedding Venue included the DJ, where he kept the guests busy on the dance floor.
