The fact that we did not plan for it to rain and then it did but in south Africa rain is a blessing and we think of it as a blessing on marriage.

When you walk in to the venue it looked like a forest leaves and flowers hang from the roof and only candle light all the furniture was wood the colour scheme of the wedding was dark blue and dark red with a touch of gold.
My husband found his suite at Truworths and the groomsmen found their shirts and pants at Jet. The bow ties we bought at H&M.

My Mother in law made all the cakes and cupcakes. The wedding cake was carrot cake with a sugar crown on top
There were also a Chocolate Grenache cake and red velvet, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.
My sister organized all of that for us.
We did not have dance lessons we felt it will be more romantic If we just do it our way.
Yes we had a dj and he did all our lightning and sound for the dance floor.
