Our wedding can be described in one word... MAGICAL! My husband is the most kindhearted beautiful man you can think of and I was lucky enough to be he's Cinderella. Although it rained all day we got blessed with a double rainbow. The meaning of this is serendipity. What a beautiful day. One in which all my dreams became reality!
We went on a Mediterranean cruise. It was amazing. We saw Paris, France, Italy and Barcelona. It was a winter holiday though so a trip to the Seychelles would be AMAZING for my tan ;)
Well my wedding look changed drastically when my hairdresser decided to drop me the night before the wedding. An angel in the form of my new great hairdresser saved the day as she colored my extensions and did all our hair in between all her other customers. Thank you Sonja (Beauty within Benoni) A friend did my make up and she did a fantastic job (Thank you Megan Anderson). My hair was half up half down with lots of curls and my make up bright yet natural . I loved it! My dress was a fairy tale ballgown by Viola Chan.
We got married at Heavensgate Wedding Venue. Their services were amazing!! The planning was very professional and on the day litterally nothing went wrong. Everything was just amazing!
I planned on loosing weight but I was just too busy with everything else going on, we bought a home had renovations and work was hectic at the time so I didnt have much time for a beauty regime. I made sure I took care of my skin and a facial helped me to have bright and beautiful skin on the day
Our decor was done by Franco from Divine weddings. The colour scheme was baby pink and navy blue ( with lots of bling of course ). We used mainly roses and Franco and he's team did a fantastic job
The groom wore a navy Tux from Euro Suit. He looked so handsome. He's groomsmen wore suits we bought from oriental city. They were grey in colour. My AMAZING maid of honour got ties made for all the men with our date and initials on .
My bridesmaids were dressed in infinity dresses from YDE. They looked absolutely stunning
Our marriage officer was Pastor John from Word and Life Sunwardpark. The service was lighthearted and fun and suited us perfectly
Our photographer was a wedding gift from my husbands aunt. He was very good and we got great photos to show for it. Him and his wife took photos and they did an immaculate job. (Deon from Deyowi Photography 0832932748)
The amazing team of Heavensgate did most of the planning and organizing.
Since everything was at one place and guests didn't see me arrived I asked a very close friend that meant a lot to me especially in my career to drive me to the venue.
Oooohhh THE FOOD!! It's Jan and people are still telling me how great the food at heavensgate was. They prepared and served all the food
All my stationery was done by LB designs Leo (0715577372). He did an amazing job. It was different, fun and it was US.
We had dance lessons as my husbands aunt is a dance instructor. The DJ is from Heavensgate and the music was AWESOME. People literally danced all night !
