It was a picturesque day in Zwartkop. Walking down the 71 meter isle and seeing the smile on my husband to be's face . Everything came together so well that day. It was a perfect day, warm and intimate celebrated with all our closest friends and family.
We had our Honeymoon in the Maldives. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to celebrate our Honeymoon at such a breathtaking destination.
I was going for a soft retro look which I thought would suit my dress best. Hair by Monique @Hairways. I'm a "less is more" kinda girl therefor jewellery I only had a set of earrings from Lovisa, shoes from Call it Spring.
The dress at first was an a-line skirt with a bodysuit but my designer chose something that suited me best, a little more bridal which I completely fell in love with. Dress by MK.
The Cradle Valley Guest Lodge. A quaint place with breathtaking views. Most of our guests stayed at the venue and some in surrounding areas.

I tried to go for a simple cleanse facial every month just to do that little extra. I'm also a stong believer of tissue oil and sunscreen. I few months before the wedding I got bad acne due to a hormonal imbalance - Urghh Murphy! I got myself a very good Vitamine E oil from The Body Shop for the blemishes caused.
Fitness wise, i've been a gym regular for the past 4 years. I've been working really hard which was a bonus as it turns out I'm a bit obsessed.
The venue itself was stunning it did not need a lot of decor. Earthy tones. Handcrafted wooden tables and chairs. I used the the color copper with some greens and single proteas as the centre pieces. I did most of the decor myself. Empty wine bottles, name place cards from Superbalist, tea candles from China Mall and my flowers from our local market .
Groom and groomsmen's attire was from Woolworths. Chino pants and a white button shirt and some polka dot braces for the groom to make him stand out a bit. Braces was from H&M.
I decided on a blush color for the bridesmaids which I felt will work well with the groomsmen's outfits, decor etc. They had dresses from Edgars.
A friend of a friend came to our house and we had a small reception just to get the legal stuff done before our big day. On the day we had one of our close friends run the formalities.
Vividimages Photography was our photographers for the day, a gift from my sister in law. There was no photo booth included in the package but closer to the wedding they had a promotion running so it was included after all. Bonus!
The Venue had the lovely Lauren who outdone herself.
Our venue had the best chefs who made the most delicious chicken pot pies.
My Mamma baked our wedding cake. She's the best baker I know. An old school chocolate cake with caramel filling and basic icing to seal the deal.
Again, I did everything myself. I used one of our engagement photos as the invitation and a doily as the envelope. Each guest had a name place card ordered from Superbalist and handwritten by a close friend. That was pretty much it for stationery.
No dance lessons. We both love dancing something we try to do often. We had Tony as our DJ from Perfect tone music.
