We had the most amazing wedding day! Every single moment was a highlight. But one had to me my favorite:
You know that gift your receive from your husband-to-be just before you meet at the chapel? That was one of the highlights of my day. I received the most thoughtful card, that made me tear up immediately. I loved reading the messages he wrote to me, and I got to wear my gift on my wedding day, the most beautiful tennis bracelet.
After that letter I was ready to make my way to the chapel right there and then! I could not wait to see him, my future husband.
We are two days away from going on our Honeymoon! It is still a surprise, so I am really looking forward to it.
We did however go on a 'Minimoon' for a few days after our wedding. We went to Fordoun Spa and to Champagne Castle Hotel, both in the Midlands. It was the most relaxing experience! I loved every moment of it.
It was one of those scenarios where I had fitted a dress my mother suggested to me. Seeing the dress on the shelves I did not see myself in that dress on my wedding day at all, but once I had it on, I immediately knew it was THE ONE. It was perfect in every way! I wore the most beautiful A-Line dress, Ivory and full of detail. I felt like a real princess.
Because the dress was so extravagant, I went with simple jewellery, only wearing a bracelet and earrings. I had my hair up, and stuck to the simplicity style with a bun.
We got married at Brahman Hills in the Midlands. It was the perfect day for a wedding! Cloudy, no wind and mild temperatures.
Brahman Hills went above and beyond to make my day memorable. They were always a step in front of me, making sure everything ran smoothly, and every detail had been taking care off. I had no stress on the day whatsoever as I knew everything was taken care of.
My guests all made a weekend out of it and stayed the night in the Midlands. Everyone had an amazing time!

I usually go to the gym every day for a walk, so I just continued with my daily routines.
I went for facials a few weeks leading up to the wedding, and as usual I continued with my waxing and my nail appointments as I usually would.
We went for simplicity. Our colours were White, Navy and Greenery.
We kept the table settings simple, with candle sticks as centre pieces and Greenery and White Roses as the decor on the tables. The table cloths were white and we had Navy napkins to tie all of it together.
I had everyone's names cut out of wood and made into a key ring as their gifts as well as their name places, two in one! It worked so well.
The groomsmen wore Grey and Navy. Grey suit jackets with Navy suit pants and Navy ties and Pocket Squares.
My groom wore a full Navy suit with a Grey tie and Pocket square. All from Bride&Co.
My bridesmaids wore the most beautiful Navy dresses from Bride&Co.
The top was sequence and the bottom of the dress was Tool all brought together with a bow at the back.
