Today I married my best friend,
Our bond complete, it hath no end,
We share one soul, we share one heart,
A perfect time - a perfect start.
With these rings we share together,
Love so close to last forever,
This special day - two special hearts,
Let nothing keep this love apart
Even though we forgot the garter and the cake topper at home,
Hubby had to run back home to fetch the rings from the safe,
We forgot the salt and pepper shakers,
And my dress tore with the first photo we took
It was the most perfect day.
Filled with love and laughter, hopes and dreams,
Perfect chaos and friends and family.
I wanted a barefoot down to earth look, messy curly hair and flat silver ballet pumps, my mom made my dress just the way I wanted it and hair and make up was done by Chantelle Folscher from Glencoe, KZN.
Jewelry was borrowed from a friend with the flower added on as my something new.
I wanted to be comfortable and free. The same way my husband made me feel.
All of my bridesmaids wore dress designs chosen by them and made by my mom.
The little flower girl dresses were designed by my mom and I and she made them as well.
