Seeing my husbad and my son waiting for me at the alter definitely was one of them:)
But whole night is a night ill never forget:)
We never got to go on our dream honeymoon...Cuba:)
However we did recieve a getaway gift from our parents to go to Sun City for a few days:)
I really tried to keep my wedding romantic (as i am a romantic at heart) with a touch of rustic , and a pinch of glam:)*
My hair was done by my bridesmaids:) what a fortunate bride i was!!:) i requested a soft wavey look...as i felt it would give that romantic feel.
My make-up artist 'Charmonique Titus' is one talented lady...and she totally understood what look i was going for...i just wanted it to look really refreshing yet with a touch glam* i really felt like she nailed it!
The only two peoples opinions i really needed when going dress shopping was my moms and my maid of honor (my sis) ....they know me best! And i feel like a dress should always represent the brides personality... I really just wanted it to be soft yet still make a statement...
Since my earings were partially old ,my dress was new, my veil was borrowed by from mom, i just had to have something blue:) ...so i went for a dusty blue closed heel that faded into a ice white:) i love them...and the fact that i could still wear them to any other kind of event,and not just to my wedding:)

We got married at a really beautiful wedding venue in Midrand called 'Accolades'... The venue really set a beautiful vibe and feel to our wedding:) and the staff were so helpful and generous throughout the whole process:)
Another beautiful thing about this venue is that they had accommodation...for a few our guests:)

Skin: made sure i drank loads of water ....and done my regular masks once a month and cut out sugar completely and just replaced it with honey:)
Hair: my hair tends to get dry, so i would do a Avocado , mayo, egg, olive oil mask once a month ...and id take my biotin hair vitamins....and using non sulphate shampoos and conditioners prevent my hair from looking weighed down....
Diet: my husband and i are vegetarians so we just try and keep our diets as healthy and light and fresh as possible:)

Our colours were dusty Blue,copper and white....
Why blue? Blue represents meanings, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith :) of the elements we wish for our marriage*
Our main flowers in our wedding bouquets and that featured in our wedding were the succulents:) im a huge fan of succulents and grew them all in our garden the moment i was proposed to:)) ... The succulent symbolises 'enduring and timeless love'....
