When I saw myself with my dress and make up on, I felt like a princess.
When I walked into the chapel and saw my husband's face when he saw me.

My beautiful dress was made by tannie Tessa. My husband's aunt. She made my stunning dress in only 3 weeks.
She also borrowed me her pearl necklace that I wore.
My hair and make up was done by Monique from M'Unique Make-up artistry.
I also wore Front Row Clip in extentions.
My shoes by Anella Wedding Shoes. And later wore flat pumps bought at Mr Price (I'm not used to high heels)
My wedding ring by Sterling Silver.
We got married at Rustic Rock Venue in Bon Accord Pretoria.
Our guests did not stay the night as the venue is close enough for everyone to go home afterwards. Only 2 of our guests stayed at a nearby guesthouse as they are from the Free State.
Just drank a lot of water to keep my appetite balanced and my skin hydrated.
Initially all our flowers were white. But because we incorporated superhero into our theme, Natasja and her amazing team sprayed all our flowers red, blue and yellow. It looked absolutely stunning with our initial black and white theme.
All other elements were supplied by the venue.
They wore a black jean with white button shirt, suspenders and a superhero theme tshirt underneath. Groom wore a black bow tie and the groomsmen wore black ties. They all wore sneakers.
Jeans and shirts were bought at Mr Price, shoes were bought at Pep.

My bridesmaids wore black infinity dresses. Maid of honor had tulle skirt overlay and tulle straps.

They also wore black pointy toe pumps bought at Mr Price.
Our marriage officer was pastor Heinrich Lottering.
Our amazing photographer was Marli from Proiecta Photography. She was assisted by her friend, Suné.
I cant imagine having someone else had captured our special day. Marli is an amazing person with new and unique ideas. She's not a video photographer but she made us a special video with stop motion photography, extremely special! She has great talent and I can recommend her to anyone.
I planned everything myself before the day. But we were blessed to have Natasja and Leandri and their team from Envy Weddings and Events to make the venue pretty and ensure everything went smooth. Amazing people. They went out of their way to make sure our day was magical.
My mother in law's wife, Mariana, drove me to the wedding in her beautiful white BMW. She decorated it beautifully with black and white ribbons.
The food was included in our package at the venue. Delicious food. Especially the pampoen koekies!
Our wedding cake was generously gifted by Shelly from Cakes by Shelly. It was a chocolate cake decorated with matte black icing and white chalk writing. We had superman and wonder woman cake toppers.
We did not have much stationary at our wedding.
But my amazing husband designed the few that we had and my mother printed them.
Droom Ontwerpe did our Polaroid black paper guestbook and kit Kat wrappers.
We unfortunately did not have funds to take dance lessons so we just picked a slow song and went with the wave on the dance floor. It gave us enough time to romantically stare into each other's eyes.
The venue supplied the DJ.
