We were blessed with amazing people who made our honeymoon a reality! We visited the Eastern Cape in Koffiebaai it was an amazing experience for us! Koffiebaai is a picture perfect destination! It is very peaceful and romantic. We went on a 5km hike to the Mpuzi Cliffs and did cliff jumping. We also went to the most famous Hole in the wall. We took surf lessons and had one amazing time!
My wedding dress was borrowed by a great friend of mine and I only got it the night before my wedding! It was a beautiful white dress with the most beautiful slay, it had diamond detail on the top of dress infront. My veil was given to me by my sister only saw it when I got dressed she bought it ons my wedding day the morning before. My hair was curled and down . My wedding shoes was the most gorgeous golden heels with diamond detail. I wore beautiful golden jewelery. And had a flower golden hair piece .
We went on a venue search and once we saw Jabulani Wedding and Conference Venue we new this was the perfect place. It had a big hall with a big wooden dance floor (we love dancing so it had to be big) the look was finished of with a high roof and amazing architecture the hall had beautiful wooden pillars!
I only went for a few sunbed sessions. We love each other just the way we are!
I am very creative and decided that I am going to organise my own wedding! I did the planning, decor i chose myself we went for a vintage/modern and wooden look. My wedding colors was mint, peach and gold. I chose beautiful pastels for my wedding. We had white table cloths with mint flower runners and peach serviets, the chairs had white covers with golden bow ties! Golden underplates with a bit of bling. Centerpieces was tree slices with log candle holders that was specialy made by my father in law. Also I used coffee tins which i sprayed white and added hessian with logs inside, peach flowers in glass flower pots. Table decor was personally done by me my husband and mother. It was so beautiful i am really proud of the end product!
The groom had only one request and that was to wear an all white suit! He wore an all white suit with a beautiful pattern on the suits collar and a white and golden bow tie. The groomsmen wore sand chinos with white shirts and brown suspenders with mint and peach bow ties.
My daughter was my maid of honor she wore a beautiful peach dress with a slay at the back it looked so pretty on her pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. My bridesmaids wore mint and white lace dresses with golded sandles super elegant!
So... funny story our pastor made a double booking and a few weeks before the wedding he noticed. Our cell leader then suggested he will marry us (as he is also a pastor) with the blessing of our main pastor! And the marriage officer was also the bestman! Welldone Johan Diedricks for giving us an amazing service!

So I work in a medical practice and there is this adorable patient which comes and visits us on a regular basis! He has a blue VW kombi very old model and I loved it from the first time we saw it and as me and my husband is VW fans we immediately contacted him for our wedding transport!
We had a simple menu salad and lasagna and there was no left overs everyone loved it! My mother in law baked my cake ! She has an talent for baking and baked a beautiful vanilla and gold cake with peach roses and mint lint. We loved our cake! Our wedding topper was a tree , a tree symbolizes our relationship!
I designed my own invitations.
We decided to just be us and dance the way we usually do. We danced on Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud. It was magic and there was no pressure! We enjoyed it! Laughed so hard at each other! We had a DJ that is a friend she did our music.
