Yes we went on honeymoon in the Garden Route and ended up in Hartenbos, everything was perfect such a special week.
My wedding look was more modern than.vintage. My hair was a more vintage type of style, my make up was perfectly done by my sister.whom is a beautician. My wedding dress was bought from a small boutique in Graaff-Reinet, I loved this dress from the start it was the first one a tried on after that I tried on many dresses and eventually I decided to buy that specific one because I looked good and felt amazing in it! My shoes was a gift from my mother it fitted perfectly with my dress and jewelry. My jewellery were a gift from my husband, a pearl set with a silver infinity pendant and infinity styled earings. Everything fitted perfectly together!
We got married in Jansenville, a small town in the Eastern-Cape. We got married at the NG Church and our ceremony were held at the town hall. Most guests came from PE and stayed over at the Angora Lodge, Lorraines Guesthouse and at The Palm Trees Cottages in town.
I just ate healty and did a bit of exercise and tried to keep my skin in a good condition. I did not have extra funds to spend on spa treatments and teeth whitening etc, but I still looked beautiful!
My decor colour was mainly white. The flowers was mostly white which consisted of white proteas and gyps. We used round tables and with the white colour we added hesian overlays with a white candles. It was a very.romantic setting at each table with each table consisted of a name such as love, faith, hope etc.The stage of the hall were the background of the main table with nice lightning against the stage curtains. We have hired underplates from lea draping. Most of the decor we bought pr my mother made it herself which was very special.
The groom wore a suit with red tie hired from Heinz in Port Elizabeth. The groomsmen wore black pants and white shirts with red bowties also hired from Heinz in Port Elizabeth.
My bridesmaids wore red long dresses with a red lace top part. Their dresses were designed and made by Chocolates for Breakfast in Port Elizabeth.

My wedding car was a white Mercedes-Benz and the bridesmaids car was a red Golf GTI the groom and groomsmen went on motorbikes to the church.
My food were prepared by Werner Spitbraais from Port Elizabeth. The wedding cake was baked locally by Mr Jaco Pietersen from Jansenville who bake any cakes privately from his home.
My mother did most of the printing. The grooms Sister also helped.
We can dance it was not necessary for dance lessons. Jacques Arend did our sound, lighting and he DJ throughout the night!
