Getting to marry my best friend and love of my life. It was the most memorable day that was absolutely perfect. Moments like getting ready with my bridesmaids and arriving at the church to walk down the aisle with my dad towards my husband to be. I loved our first dance to Ed Sheeren's perfect, as well as my father daughter dance to Cinderella.
We had the most amazing honeymoon in Capetown. We stayed at Lagoon Beach Hotel we were lucky enough to have an incredible sea view room.
I had an idea of what I wanted and it all came together on the day perfectly. My wedding dress was bought from Wedding Connexion, a beautiful Morilee designer dress. I had two pairs of shoes that I wore on the day, a rose gold Forever New pair of heels as well as a pair of silver heels from Steve Madden. My hair was done by the lovely Chrislene from Harringtons and my makeup was done by the talented Mary from Makeup by Mary Carletti. My jewellery was very minimal, consisting of a beautiful bracelet my husband surprised me with on the day and a pair of earrings that are my moms.
We got had our reception at The Hyatt Regency in Johannesburg. It was amazing, yes some guests did stay the night. We had a complimentary bridal suite.
I tried to work out and stay healthy as much as possible, I did get eyelash extentions leading up to the wedding. I didnt change anything about my normal skin routine.
Our decor, flowers and furniture were all put together by the wonderful team at Seating Plan. They put everything together effortlessly.
My bridesmaids wore dusty pink dresses with added rose gold sequins. They were each made according to the style the bridesmaids chose. They were from Wedding Connexion
We were married in the Maronite Catholic Church by the wonderful Father Pierre Chemaly.
We had 2 photographers and 1 videographer on the day from Flare Photography.
We also hired a photo booth that allowed our guests to take pictures throughout the night.
The person who planned each aspect of our special day was my mom. She outdid herself and made it a lot less stressful for me. She organised everything for us.
The Hyatt Regency has their own amazing chefs that made all the food for the wedding, they made exceptional starters, mains as well as incredible deserts.
Our cake was made by the lovely Chiara of Serendipity cakes. She captured everything I envisioned even down to the model boston terriers I had asked for the cake.
We had all our stationery printed and designed by Little things Johannesburg, I did create my own monogram that we carried throughout the wedding theme. From the invites to the dance floor.
Weeks prior to our wedding we did take dance lessons from the lovely Martha at Dancemore studios, she helped us perfect our dance to our song. Our sound and lighting was done by our DJ, the incredible Joe Ebersey, he definitely got the party going and all the guests on the dancefloor.
