Abré and I have decided to have a 'first look' before the ceremony started. He came up to bridal suit and waited around the corner, after which I followed and our hands touched. That feeling of knowing the person you love is right here. You cannot look, but you can feel each others hands. We prayed together, after which I made my way back to the bridal suit.
The process of getting ready was so exciting for me. From the hair to the make-up and then the moment of putting on my wedding dress. Something I dreamt about since I was a little girl. The moment where no trials mattered, no months of planning mattered, it was the moment where you can look your utmost beautiful. The moment was finally here, where I made my final appearance in front of the bridesmaids to see their true reaction when they see me. "True friends", I say.

We got married on the 14th of October 2017. Our wedding venue was at Cradle Valley, which is located in Muldersdrift, This is an elegant wedding venue, and also provides accommodation where our guests had stayed over for the night.
