When my dad came to collect me at the guest house - it was just that perfect moment!!! And when i walked down the isle and held my dads arm as we both cried :) When i saw my husband to be - i could not believe our day is finally here - he had this look in his eyes!!! The whole evening with all our family and friends made it more special
We did a little road trip ... Kby - Bloemfontein - Clarens and then spent 7days in Umhlanga. We stayed in a resort there, with the most amazing view - and the people there just made the experience more fun.
Everything was just perfect. The way i wanted it to be! My dress was made by https://www.facebook.com/Ann-Lee-Couture-297280907147380/ and it was PERFECT! Our make up was done by a close family friend at the guesthouse aswell as our hair.
We got married at Bezalel Wine & Brandy Estate. Most of our guests stayed at our parents houses or guest houses. The accommodation was not to far from our venue, so we had a late night :)
I just used a scrub for my skin and a day/night cream. Nothing fancy.
We went for vintage - but not to over the top. We had the best ( Red Ribbon Events / Weddings & Crazy Daisy Flowers ) to help us with this. The seating in the garden where we got married and in the hall where the reception was - we used white tiffany chairs. We had a lot of Proteas and roses..as well as fairy lights - a girls best friend. Our colours were mint green , dove grey and a rusty pink.
They had a simple white long sleeve shirt ( sleeves roled up ), chino pants, and brown shoes. I had made 'n groomsmen badge for the 3 groomsmen and also i had made socks for my groom and groomsen.
We decided on infinity dresses ( minty green ) - so all 3 my bridesmaid would look the same. They just folded the dress the way they wanted is to. I gave them each a bridesmaids badge , a silver bracelet and 'n goodie bag containing scrubs,sunglasses, t shirt etc.

I had my sister in law :) The best of the best. She has been part of my life for 16 years and who better to help me? Shed helped me with dress fittings, and choosing most of our ideas. She kept the tears not from coming to often and i don't think i could have done it without her.
The food for the wedding was prepared by Bezalel Wine & Brandy Estate. You got to choose from a variety of a menu they provide. The cake we had made by Glam Fairy's.
