On the Beach we shared our most perfect day (with no wind) with our loved ones to a new happily ever after. It was a fairy tale dream wedding come true. With whales splashing in the background.
This is a very busy time of year for us to go- so we decided to go in January when everything is more peaceful.
My total look was definately very soft romantic with curls. I made a rose, sequins, pearl and shell allisband for my hair. My dress was blush pink layers of chiffon with white lace flowers and pearls. I made my dress as well 3 weeks before the wedding. My jewellery were Swarovski blushpink earings and pearls. My sandals were blush pink with pink crystals.
We got Married on the beautiful Langbaai beach in Hermanus. Most of the guests stayed in various guesthouses in Hermanus.
I hit the gym weeks before- treatments would be, lash extensions, pedicure and manicure, teeth whitening, skin exfoliate also some highlights in my hair by Allure in Hermanus, make up done by Bernice make up artist in Hermanus.
My decor were totally Romantic-- roses, sea shells, sequins, chinese lanterns with flowers. We had the most beautiful rose arch on the beach that my husband created the morning of the wedding. We rented some hooks to hang white baskets of flowers for the aisle. My hand bouquet I made myself also consist of flowers, sea shells , sequins and pearls. My confetti were leaves with gold glitter. Everything on the tables at the venue like serviette holders, table numbers, candles on the table were combined with sand,sea and shells.
The groom wears sand colour trousers with white shirt, blush pink tie with teal blue suspensors. All the brothers and fathers had hats that I modified and everyone were barefoot on the beach.
Flower girls wore flower and shell headbands that I made. Their skirts were tulle and netting with a lot of flowers and ribbons, the tops were plain white with flower and sequins applique that I made.
The wedding photographer were the famous Shireen Louw .
No, I did everything myself. Planned a year .
The Venue were at Milkwood Restaurant in Onrus. I baked my own wedding cake and cupcakes- for I am a pastry chef.The wedding cake was 4 colours and 3 different fillings inside.
I did my own stationary- I printed table menus in the form of placemats for memory to take home.
