The highlight was holding my husbands hand and looking into his eyes while saying our vows and seeing all the love he has for me. This to me was so special.
Unfortunately we did not as we got married on the Thursday and he had to fly back to Iraq for work on the Sunday
We did not have a lot of time to plan a wedding. We literally had 3 weeks. I went with a traditional South Indian Sari, juwelery and hair.
We got married in Ballito on the North Coast, it was a very private ceremony. You can say we eloped.
I wish I had all these things but the wedding happened so fast. I personally use oil of olay, spoil myself with a footspa, wish I had the pampering before but couldn't wait to marry my man who I have been waiting for for 21 years
Because it was such a rush, I loved the idea of color so I chose only a bunch of roses, also used them in my hair. I wanted to look as bright and beautiful as our love for one another
The groom just flew in from Iraq the previous day so he just wore something casual and comfy
I did not really have bridesmaids, had my best friend as a witness and she wore a beautiful sari herself.
Fiona from Ballito, what a lovely person made us feel so at ease.
No I arranged everything myself from Cape Town where I live, all via telephone
My friends VW doing 180 on the highway, as I was going to be late. Hair and make up took longer than anticipated
Unfortunately there was none
We did not have
