The highlights and memorable moments of our day was the moment I saw my future husband standing in front waiting for me and realising today I am marrying my best friend, my soulmate and the man I prayed for. Spending this day with family and friends was very special. The special moment was when we gave each other the rings and Dr Rias pronounced us husband and wife and we kissed. We used two different colours of Namibiese sand one colour for him and 1 for me, together we poured it into one glass which symbolizes us being one. My sister 10 year old daughter who was also my flower girl surprised us with a song she sang. It was a perfect day but my little girl dream of my dad bringing me into the church did not came true because a month before our wedding he went to heaven. I missed him a lot but I know he was there and would have been proud he was in my heart. It was hard but God gave us strength. I am so thankful for my husband for all of his love and support. Family and friends was very supportive and made the day special.
Yes we did go on honeymoon, the Sunday after the wedding we went to Valley Lodge in Magaliesburg for a spa treatment, a good stress reliever after planning the wedding. We went to Mabalingwe Nature Reserve for a week. We both love nature. We ended our perfect honeymoon for a weekend at Monte Casino.
My dress was designed and made by the famous designer Peter Bondesio from Bondesio Couture. I saw the idea on Pinterest he made a few changes. It was perfect everything I wanted, I felt like a princess. My wedding shoes I wore shoes from the Zellie Collection I wanted comfortable but stylish shoes. My jewellery was supplied by my designer on our wedding day my husband gave me a bracelet that I wore it was special. On my other bracelet I wore my dad's wedding ring in memory of him to have him close to me. My hair was in a upstyle because I wanted the back of my dress to show. My makeup I wanted a natural look.
