I designed my dress myself and had it made by the same lady that made my Matric farewell Dress. A beautiful ivory duchess Satin Material with a low Lace back.
Hair was long and loose with beautiful Beachy / Hippie Like curls. My Make-up was the absolute best! Everyone talked about it. I wasn’t going for the natural look, it was my wedding day after all! I bought my Ivory Satin shoes at Bridal Allure and had on these Perfectly Beautiful Fresh Water Pearl Earrings. My whole look blended very well together.

There wasnt really a specific Beauty Regime I followed. I did whiten my Teeth and exfoliated my face twice weekly with a little bit of sugar, as suggested by my Make-Up Artist! It worked really well!
Décor and Wedding Coordination on the day was done by Sue-El Weyers from Elle Events.
She did a fantastic job and the day turned out exactly as I planned and envisioned.
We had a Rustic, Natural & Romantic Theme with Burgundy, Peach, White and Masala Colour Flowers with Gold Elements. Cute and intimate is what we went for and it felt and looked exactly like that.

We hired the Suits from Mr. Suit Hire who had fantastic service!
I only had one made of honor and I had her dress made. I had a idea in mind and it was executed beautifully. It was a Burgundy Chiffon Dress which had a princess flow and suited her very well!
Our Preacher that my whole family knew very well and we all felt comfortable and knew he was the right Preacher to choose to marry us.
Elsa Lategan from ELate Photography. She and her assistant was incredible and captured our Day as perfect as you can get! And Yes off course we had a beautiful Romantic Backdrop with Photo Props where all our Guests posed and got silly for the photographer and it was an absolute winner !
Yes Sue-el from Elle Events. Loved her and everything turned out well planned and flowed like a dream.
My MC also had the role of Coordinating on the day. And she helped made sure that all the guests were happy and always had something to drink and eat!
Myself and my Maid of Honor slept over at this Beautiful Quint Little Cottage called Die Blikhuis the previous night.
So no need for transport to the actual Ceremony and reception. We walked from Die Blikhuis to De Malle Meul which added a beautiful touch to our wedding photos. Us walking up the road was idylic!
The actual Venue - De Malle Meul - made our food which was fantastically Yummy Old School Farm Style food and our Wedding Cake and Cupcakes were made by Yum Bakes. They were beautiful and delicious !
Two Create did our Save The Dates, Wedding Invites, Guest Seating & Name Cards. It was also that rustic and Romantic look. And Droom Ontwerpe did our Wedding Newspapers and Guest Gifts.
We had 2 Wonderful very talented Ladies who played the violin and keyboard beautifully at our Ceremony. We had no need for a DJ. We had background music during the Reception as it was a Day Wedding, but offcourse their was a bit of dancing and we had a planned AFTER-PARTY where we danced until the early hours of the morning! We also did our First dance with the sound of my Cousins singing one of there original songs. Was beautiful and Romantic. And because it was such a tiny wedding everyone knew there song and sang along.
