My most memorable moment would have to be, waking down the isle and seeing the man of my dreams looking so incredibly handsome and knowing this is the moment where we start our new adventure together as husband and wife.
I took some time alone towards the end of the evening to stand by the fireplace and look at the people, the detail, months and months of planning and realised - this is it - it was perfect.
We went to Wilderness and stayed in the breathtaking, Lodge on the Lake.

My wedding look was a take on Red carpet/ Bohemian, loose curls and a flower crown.
My dress was champagne covered in french lace, designed and made by Didi Couture.
I decided on a brown and gold smokey eye with nude lips for the ceremony and a deep masala for the photos.
My shoes matched my lips and flowers - deep red/masala.
I wore my gold rings on my right hand and my hand made swarovski crystal earrings were from Didi Couture.
We got married at the Black Oystercatcher near Bredasdorp in the Overberg.
It is a beautiful rustic/modern venue with a large porch, high cealings and two cosy fireplaces.
Most of our guests stayed over in Bredasdorp as most of them came from far.
Four times a week I would go for a 5km run, cut out all sugar and try to drink 2L of water each day.
2 week prior to the wedding I went for a hydro facial which made my skin look healthy and hydrated.
The venue has a modern rustic look so I decided on an organic look and feel.
I only had proteas on the main table and different kinds of leaves/greenery on the rest of the tables.
My tables where all solid wood as well as the chairs. I had gold candlesticks and white candles on all the tables.
The lights dimmed to create a romantic lighting for the evening and the fireplaces were lit to create a warm home-feel.
Jaco wore a dark blue Zara suit with a custom made dark grey xx vest and white zara shirt.
His thin leather tie from WEEF matched his belt and watch.
He had on dark brown leather boots with bright red and navy socks.
My bridesmaids wore light pink dresses from YDE and gold accessories with nude shoes.
Ds. Braam Coetzee was our marriage officer.
He is such a genuine person and made the ceremony so special.
My photographer – Anneri from Basque Imagery did a stunning job, she is professional but also a fun person and made us feel so comfortable during the shoot. She captured everything so beautifully, I have no regrets and I can recommend her to anyone.
